I always rewatch movies. I've seen CLUE like over 20 times now. Same with Rocky Horor, Star Wars, and several of my favorite horror films :0

i can never get enough of a good damn movie.

Just saw new Planet of the Apes. Literally my only criticism is that the human characters were a bit bland.

Maisie Williams is the only confirmed actor to my knowledge, she's gonna be Ellie. Neil Druckmann, the guy who wrote and directed TLOU the game, is writing the script for the movie and is in charge of picking out the director and Sam Raimi is on board as producer. They keep joking around with Bruce Campbell being someone

New story all the way. I don't mind if it's an alternate point of view, though, but from who? Anyhow, the story was great just as it was told and done. We don't need a movie to show us that it's good. It would be much stronger as a companion and add on(in a sense) to the game.

That's true but of an overwhelming majority of the people who are aware of TLOU don't even know what it's about or what it is aside from being a game so a retelling wouldn't also be a bad idea. Either way, knowing that Druckmann is writing is the best thing about this so far. That and how he's in control of picking the director.

Yes it would. Cramming everything that happened during that game into a sub 2-hour movie wouldn't leave the same impression. Making a story based on the world that is created for it's medium would satisfy people more in the long run.
Not only that, but if people really do end up liking it, then they could probably end up looking up the game if they're so inclined.

That's true. All that's really known for sure is that it'll have Joel and Ellie in it though, whether or not it's a retread has yet to be seen.
