Played TF2 Last night.... Went to a server that was laggy. Everyone on the server and I made a parody of so Happy by Pherell Williams called "So Laggy". Made my day.

There are too many Mario Kart 64 Nostalgia-filled players in Mario Kart 8.

Whenever Yoshi Valley, Toad's Turnpike, Royal Raceway, or Rainbow Road(to be fair, everybody jumps on Rainbow Road) shows up, every pounces on those stages like it's crack.

A nearby lightning strike fried my router and took out the power for a while. Thankfully I still had my old router as a spare, but it took me a while to get all my electronics up and running again.

Long story short:

We have a company (calling it X) that ships with another company Y. X ships glass products like beer mugs, tumblers, etc. Well they ship them in very flimsy boxes that guarentees at least 1 glass shattered every day. The worst was a shipment of 36 and only 10 survived the trip.

I sent a complaint about this because the glass can be dangerous. Well we got a letter today explaining he following:

Company X made a deal with Y stating that they are NOT liable for ANY damages that leaves X's faculty. Y has the packages picked up and then sent to us. Y assumes all damage liabilities.

Because of this deal, X does not offer or issue refunds for the broken glass. They instead charge customers AGAIN to replace the orders. So they are getting paid twice.

X tells us that if we cancel the contract, they will put their entire load on Y and charge Y MORE. Meaning the following:

They get paid MORE MONEY for every damaged package
If we drop them, they make MORE money by using the 2ndary company they work with
UPS already refuses to work with them so they don't care if we drop them because of the deal mentioned above.

They make a 12-15% EXTRA PROFIT for every damage they send out because they charge customers twice.



TLDR:

The Purposely ship product to get damaged during transit so that they can charge people more money to replace the damages

Because of their complicated contract, if we drop them, they will just go to their other group and charge them double to ship them

Either way: They make money off of damages and have no reason to stop purposely breaking their own product.

You gonna report this? What can be done. That is such bullshit.
