It's temporary. Just checking out some skin ideas that will probably be edited/changed during this week.

I'm too confused about the fact that one of my favorite looking forums is changing every time I F5, so I'm a little scatterbrained to answer that.

I kind of do too. I may need to tweak things for it before I make it a choice in the overall list of themes

Well the original look was nice and simple, with easy to read tells that a new post had been made.
However, I'm not gonna lie, I like this current look. The links to the board subsections could have more flair to make them more noticeable, but otherwise, I like the earthy "book" look.

EDIT: Aaaaaand, my opinion didn't matter. XD

Hmm, I dislike that everything is on the left. Also not sure if it's just me, but quote boxes are pure white.
