Movie Idea Thread

Okay me & Mazer (and possibly Lux) are going to make some things to make movies. We already have this one movie that's a sci-fi psycho-thriller, and another that's a slasher starring my avi.

Wait, so is this exclusively for you three?

well if you would like to work with us, we will be happy to take you aboard, Legend. This is a very serious production crew though we want to actually start getting scripts and novels done and sold :)

No, I mean if I wanted to discuss my own ideas here is that okay or is it just for you three to do so?

If the answer to my question is that I can discuss my ideas with you guys as well then I want in. I've written two complete scripts with 2 drafts of one and essentially 4 of the other as well as several shorts but have yet to truly, and genuinely, finish something (finish as in it's done, copywritten, and ready to be sent out).

Also, now that I'm rereading what I posted, and Smirky's response, I feel like I gave you guys the wrong idea >.<

I didn't know what was happening, but god damn I'm a dumbass!!!!! WHY THE HELL WOULD I DO THAT!? It seemed like a life an death scenario and all I wanted to do was whine and question the situation. Fucking A, I deserved to die. And I see that you made Luna a boy in this story haha.

Well basically for you - you saw Justin kill James and the whole town is on fire and all this crap and basically everyone BUT you knows what's going on but no one is telling you anything because they were in a panic.

But still, I panicked and was a little bitch. I should have just been like, "Ok, there's definitely something wrong here so I'm going to go with the flow until we get somewhere safe" but nope, I freaked out and Caleb took that opportunity to fuck me up. I'm thinking of calling it J-Pop Death Squad, the story will be about a woman who has two lives, she's a pop star and after all the glitz and glamour is gone she becomes a leader of a feared yakuza death squad

Alright, I'm feeling pretty burned out on my grim dark nonsense lately and have been hankering from something more light hearted and fun. Would anyone like to help me kind of develop an idea? It's something I'm just calling "Punk" for the time being with a blue haired girl (maybe with green highlights?) involving spray paint and... that's about all I have outside of character stuff. I sort of want it to be, say, a silent short if it were ever turned into a short film or just have as little dialogue as possible.

I'm still kicking it around in my head so I'll have to get back to you guys on this.

Is it live action or animated? I am curious as blue/green hair is rare in live action. I need more input on it in order to provide more feedback than that though.

Animated is the goal but even so it's not naturally blue/green hair, it is called "Punk" after all :p

But in any case, the only concrete stuff I have right now is essentially some character background stuff. The blue haired teenage girl's the main character and I'm thinking of calling her Maggie or something to that effect. She has a sick mother, a (to go against the cliche) a GOOD but overworked father, and two brothers, one older and the other an infant. She's not necessarily going out early each day to just be mischievous but that's kinda where I don't know where to go with this cause I don't really do light hearted stuff >.>

I picture the opening being rather drab and gray in color scheme but quickly and immediately changes to very bright and vivid once she steps out of the house to do whatever.

May I suggest a moral dilemma? Perhaps while Maggie is out she comes across two different people who she considers friends, one of whom is a strait arrow in terms of action but dull and another who is a hellraiser but a close friend. It would be interesting to see her efforts to be mischievous without causing to much trouble. Likewise how she reacts to the trouble she causes could also be an ideal way to capitalize on the lighthearted aspects.
