The Kombat Pack won't only come equipped with new fighters, but also includes a number of alternate costumes. Looks like Carl Weathers will indeed be in Mortal Kombat X... (as an alternate skin.)

Excuses, you declared that game the game of the generation. Then when the remastered version was announced, you started nitpicking it, seemingly so as to justify the existence of the remastered version. How do you know there aren't plenty of people who'll want this? We all gave you grief for it, but you defended it. I'm sure there's someone out there who'd do the same for this one. You are being a total hypocrite right now. At least this one is more than a year old! >_>

Cause it is the best game of last gen for me, and still is. Also, nitpicking to justify the existence of the remastered version? lolwut? Nope. You know that's total bullcrap.

That aside, why is Batman Arkham Asylum/City being remastered? Why was Arkham Knight seemingly delayed simply to make room for those two to get ported up? *tinfoil hat* It's just, why? First the GoW 4 and 3 HD ports, now Beyond Two Souls is, again, being rumored and posted up again, and then this just pops out of nowhere. There's beginning to be an imbalance of old vs new it feels like. I'm not against the idea of remasters/remakes/HD up-ports (having the option to play the superior versions is always a good thing) but there needs to be a balance between old stuff and new stuff and that balance seems to be out of whack now.

You did start nitpicking it. You started saying that the PS3 version had this technical issue or that. How it ran so much better on PS4. You totally got defensive when everyone else here bashed it and got on your case for being so quick to jump on it.

As for this, I'm totally against it, just like I was against TLoU remastered. I totally agree it's bullshit, just that I feel I have to point out some of your hypocrisy in this case. When it was a game you really liked, you were totally fine with it, but not with these ones.

As for that balance that you're talking about, TLoU was way worse on the fact that it was released a year later. The gap between the Batman games and the God of War games and their respective remastered version is at least much larger than that one.

the time gap between them has nothing at all to do with the balance I was talking about. I'm talking about a balance between new current gen games and old games being ported up for current gen. Also, people always bashed on TLOU when I was enjoying it Neutral

fuck, Bear still does it just for shits and giggles. And, yes dude, I mentioned technical issues it had on PS3 because it does have technical issues on PS3, nothing near Dragon's Dogma levels of issues (which, honestly, is a game that does need an up port, game runs like total dogshit on last gen hardware with its frame rate constantly dropping into both the mid teens and single digit territory). *erased cause irrelevant and is just me getting defensive*

Fine fine....I will make the point, I denounce them. I hate this shit. Last gen was getting ridiculous with how many remakes there were of old games. This one is fucking lazier. They're not bothering to remake old games, they're just remastering games from the just finished previous generation.

tbh; the only way to justify a "remastered" version of batman is if they made an "hd" collection that included AA, AC, and the portable metroidvania one that was released. And they should be no more than 30$ for the entire pack.

I am growing very tired of this trend of "remasters". People are buying them up like hot-cakes, people are defending 30$ DLC and bending over for developers, people are buying broken ass games like Ass Creed Unity, and devs are just shoveling garbage out.

Oh please Atari Lords bring forth down upon the nation a new Game Crash.

I really wish Nintendo would replace their current marketing department. It is to the point that no one in their right minds can honestly say they have been doing a decent job advertising their products.

As someone mentioned a few pages back (Luna I believe) standing naked with a sign for a car garage would be better marketing than what Nintendo is doing right now.

I do not disagree. They need the advertisement. Their system and games are hands over fist better than a lot of the crap we've been getting recently.

The Arkham remaster is Asylum + City, no Origins for w/e reason. That aside, a few people do believe that we are witnessing a game crash as we speak. Kind of like an eye of the storm moment perhaps but we're in the thick of it.
