Its no wonder people confuse Link for Zelda...
He looks more like a chick in each new installment.

Let's see what they can do I guess.... I hope they don't fuck it up too bad.

It'll be for the kiddies. I am betting that I'll find it cringe worthy.

Thanks. I choose to draw that as my final in art 101 last semester, even so it is still came out differently than I intended.

I really like it, does it have a back story to it?

Ideally it was meant to represent one of the primary locations in the story I am trying to wright. "Skyport" is the floating fortress/town that houses the Steamlords and their array of machines.

I don't recall looking for a steampunk anime. The only one on the top of my head that comes close is FMA.Squirrel500 wrote:Koenig wrote:Might have been me. I am a bit of a Steampunk enthusiast.

On an unrelated note: I found this cool website that is pretty much a yes/no question game game. You think of a character and this genie tries to guess it. the cool part is that no matter how obscure the character is, he usually gets it right. Whoever made this must been a genius.

Re: General Chat XXXIX: Reading Rainbow Returns Edition.
I GOT SMASH BROS FOR WII U/3DS IMPRESSIONS!
- Spoiler:
- Smash Bros for 3DS:
In person, the game looks great. Screenshots from the website don't do the game justice.
The only demo feature they had available for 3DS was Smash Run. No local multiplayer, which was a bit of a downer for me. I had a hard time choosing a character to play as... but I ended up using Marth(Because Marth, that's why).
Right off the bat, I tried to L cancel. Couldn't. Felt a little bummed out, but still played.
One thing I noticed with Marth is that his Smash attacks come in QUICK. Either the A button was broken, or fully charged Smash attacks come in MUCH faster than in Brawl. My running speed was pretty quick, too. The game overall moves faster than Brawl, that's for certain.
I ran around slaying a bunch of enemy AI, noticing familiar enemies(Waddle Dees, enemies from SubSpace Emissary, etc) And some enemies I couldn't recognize(If I knew what they were, I'd tell you lol) and gathered a bunch of Power and abilities.
My HP and abilities werre displayed on the bottom screen, and were accessible by touching them. The only thing I used was HP recovery. I didn't feel like I needed to use the other stuff like stored items(?).
After a good 3 or so minutes, the Smash Run was over, and the battle against other CPU opponents began. I can't remember what the battle was called, sadly.
I played on Tortimer Island stage.
It was amazing to see my character slice at Donkey Kong and deal 91% damage in one hit.
Characters are still pretty floaty like in Brawl, but not as floaty. When characters get launced, it seems thy fly straighter now, and don't fly in a curved arch. When shooting an opponent up into the sky, they don't fly awy in the background or hit the screen(so sad. This would've made 3D fun), they simply explode, just like when they get k.o'ed on the sides or bottom of the screen.
Overall experience tells me that you don't have to skip over this version of Smash Bros. if you're intersted. It plays great, and looks good for a 3DS game.
Wii U:
I didn't get the chance to play this version.
BUT, I was able to watch players battle on the game, and I have to say: The game looks Beautiful! 60 frames, good clarity, all that good stuff.
In comparison to the 3DS version, they look on par in gameplay.
