No, I'm pretty sure he already used that line when we were digging for treasure in his front yard. Crappy metal detector.

I didn't do the digging personally, I forced some random minion to do it, so technically, I left no holes. I think his plumbing got messed up though, stupid pipes getting in the way of digging.

Re: General Chat XXXIX: Reading Rainbow Returns Edition.
Castlevania has a long running history on Nintendo so it would make sense if Konami was willing to work with Nintendo ( I mean we got snake in smash bros despite Metal Gear having much less success on Nintendo's system) Likewise Nintendo is publishing Bayonneta 2 so it only makes sense to include her (Granted much like Snake she would have to be restrained in some regards)
Professor Layton on the other hand seems like a dead ringer for a contender in smash; All six of his games (seven if you count his crossover game with Ace Attorney) have been exclusive to Nintendo, he is fairly iconic and would fit well with the cast of characters in SSB. You could argue that he would not have a good move set but that argument could be just as easily countered by past and present character entries in the series.
So they are all possible, but I don't honestly expect anything at this point. I do hope that some smash bros characters are not revealed, instead opting for players to discover them on their own.

I don't think Bayonetta will be a good fit at all, honestly.Koenig wrote:Castlevania has a long running history on Nintendo so it would make sense if Konami was willing to work with Nintendo ( I mean we got snake in smash bros despite Metal Gear having much less success on Nintendo's system) Likewise Nintendo is publishing Bayonneta 2 so it only makes sense to include her (Granted much like Snake she would have to be restrained in some regards)

Plus I wouldn't like to see Miiverse overrun by Sexy Pictures of Bayonetta while she uses her hair for attacks, evaporating her outfit. And I'm sure Nintendo wouldn't like that, either. And you can't restrain her like Snake at all because that's essentially how she works. It'd almost be like adding Link without his Sword. Or Mario without his signature jump or fire ball. It wouldn't work well, if not at all.
I have no comment on Professor Layton, except for the potential moveset. Sakurai has made movesets out blank slates all the time. Fox being the most notable. Layton can get a moveset easily.
Simon Belmont is a great addition imo. I sadly just don't see it happening. It's just too good of a thing to happen. We can't have nice things.
We'll have hidden characters. Remember what Sakurai said when Luigi was unveiled? He said he usually doesn't announce characters like him before the game's release. Hidden characters are a given.
