Real fast summary


Scar: An outsider who goes to a downtrodden, foreign nation who feels they have been slighted and cheated. Scar tells them that it is the fault of the Lions and he builds their forces and economy in order to rise up against the Lions. He does this through elaborate speeches from up high as the hyenas march below.



Scar ends up going to the Lions with a false proposal of Peace (hitler invading Poland). While he is in their territory, he takes over. Ruins the land and banishes anyone who gets in his way.

You have Simba who was already involved in a terrible tragedy and wants nothing to do with the new war (america). While the allies (Nala) work to try to escape or even go against Scar, Simba says basically "Not my problem."

When a 3rd nation (Rafiki) shows up and attacks SImba (Strike on the head - Pearl Harbor), Simba realizes it is time to get into the fight. He teams up with his Allies and invades Scars territory (D-day)

During this, Scar's generals begin doubting his grand vision (Project Valkyrie) and even whisper about how things were better before Scar's take over.

Simba, with his allies, overthrow Scar who then kills himself (albeit by throwing his Hyenas under the bus which ensures his death).

Capaldi is the best New Who Doctor, what are you talking about?

Glad to hear Moffat is leaving, (though I will give a short out to him simply because I LOVED Blink and Silence in the library) I just hope the next one can craft a more compelling and coherent story than he has in recent seasons.

Capaldi is the best New Who Doctor, what are you talking about?

I like him as an actor, but he is my least favorite doctor by a very very large margin. (i've only watched the new run of doctor who never watched the classic stuff)
with better writing/scripts he could be good, but at this point it's sadly just time to move onto someone new instead of trying to repeatedly reinvent Capaldi's doctor who can't seem they can't seem to get a grip as to what they want him to be.
is he an vengeful doctor.
is he a fun doctor.
is he a rockstar
or a dork
does he think things through
is he a complete idiot.
at some point in the first season and a half of his run everything there has been true. He is all over the place and it makes it really hard to give a crap about him at all. They half heartedly try to justify this with him remembering who he should be but then they just went to a different deep end. He often feels less like a person and more like a trope of the doctor, or should I say a Flanderism of the doctor. I was always hoping he would grow on me, but I am firmly in the bring on the new doctor camp at this point.

a new companion should at least help, but there isn't a single episode in his run that stands out to me as a great episode at all. (note I still have like 5 episodes to watch to be fully caught up)

initial reactions I am seeing.
"yay moffat is leaving.... oh shit the new guy is horrible, keep moffat."

I have finally beat RE0! Man, that item system is incredibly annoying, like "holy shit this is game ruining" levels of annoying. Solid nonetheless but can't even hold a candle to the masterpiece that is REmake.
