Where ARE the Nintendo Wii U commercials?
I just recently saw a 3DS commercial featuring Mario Kart 7... wtf Nintendo?

Have you seen the new Super Smash Bros commercials?  They are, to put it politely, absolutely fucking terrible!

When has Nintendo commercials been any good? Remember the Zelda Rap for the Gameboy game? Or better yet the first commercial explaining what the Wii U was.

It's like...wtf man? The system with games pushing 1080p and 60fps with huge scoring games is dying whereas the over-expensive, subscription-forced for MP, little to no games system without backwards compatibility....is selling like mad?

Let's not forget that the Wii U's first year was fucking terrible. PS4 and Xbone have been exactly the same to me. I've had intense dry spells with my Wii U and am having one with my PS4 now as well which, while depressing, is expected with the first year. And dude, really? Over-expensive? It isn't. At all. Period. It's the one system that's actually worth it based on the raw hardware which leads me to my assumption as to why it's selling like hot cakes. It's the strongest and, objectively, best fucking gaming machine on the market. It's the one console with the absolute most potential of the three because of what it is capable of. And, before you and/or Rea start bitching, because I know he will and already has, look at what it is. It is, hands down, the best piece of hardware of the current gen, there is no arguing this. It is the strongest and people were, and still are, hungry for new tech because last gen went on way too fucking long and is still fucking going for fuck's sake. (Not to mention the gpu that is inside the PS4 was a $220+ gpu at launch, dunno what the current version of it is called so I can't say what the pricing is on it now). The only real problem I see with the PS4 games coming is that I have a pc.... So, yeah.

Beyond that, the Nintendoom and gloom shit will never stop BECAUSE IT'S FUCKING COOL AND POPULAR TO HATE NINTENDO. They're the that kid that the hipsters fucking despise but the good, genuine people love. This isn't going to change anytime soon because they're Nintendo. It will always be cool to hate Nintendo. Always. So don't fucking bother with it. The industry is nothing more than a bunch of stupid high school cliques. That won't change so don't expect it to.

Also, personally, 2014 for Wii U has been average at best

Only five games worth owning out of an entire year? That's not exactly great to me.

Since forever? It's only this gen where their marketing has taken a complete nose dive.

Not talking about Nintendo making commercials I'm talking about how there commercials usually suck.

Legend no offense but I'm tired of hearing that excuse about the whole power aspect, cause clearly the games haven't been doing FUCK ALL with that power but letting down gamers, game after fucking game. What's even sadder dude, is that the PS4 will soon be tapped out which is extremely fucking sad. So far what the system can do has been highly unimpressive. 60FPS okay sure but many games on past systems have been doing that. 1080p, sure even PS4 has a hard to doing it with most games, hell a few of them have already been called out on there BS with that 1080i bullshit. So the PS4 sure its powerful but not even close to what gamers want. Yet sadly they will never see it given how Sony is sitting right now.

I Hate what Sony has become. A lying Hype fest machine that isn't even worth the full price. 250 bucks is what the PS4 should be, no more then that Period. Hell at least with Microsoft being lower on the power end is actually getting games that are worth the investment and NOT Over long played movies designed in a video game format.

Sony had so many god damn classics back in there prime and they are all replaced with M rated BS games that play out like fucking movies. Yeah no thank you. If I wanna play a game like Uncharted or better yet, The Last Of us. Ill watch the Road and enjoy that Masterpiece instead.

Fuck...... I might buy an Xbox.

do legend keep the wii u, just look at what games xboxone has out or coming out and see if you would actually play them more then once before blowing your money on one

The Wii U and Xbox One is the perfect combo next to PC gaming if your in to that. Think about it, you have a console that may be lower on the power front but at least there not going under like *Cough* Sony *Cough* is.

This is coming from a person who wasn't a huge fan of the 360. Yet I don't care about console features, I care about the games cause when I buy a console. I buy it for gaming and gaming only. Xbox One has the better games in my opinion ( FUCK YOU LEGEND, Love ya buddy )

Well, I'll add my two cents by saying that if I would have two of the current gen systems it would be WIIU and Xbone. I acknowledge that the PS4 has the best hardware and I like that upgrading the HD is easy, but it's lack of games that interest me is the reason why I would stay away.

More and more games I want are coming out for the XBone only and it's starting to worry me...Especially since said games aren't doing well due to the exclusivity.

I dunno. I like my Wii U + PS4 + PC combo. There is only one game on Xbone that I really want :\

I think I might just use the money on amiibos instead or something.

Does XBone still have that stupid ass policy? I haven't put any thought into the XBone until just now.
