According to Box Office Mojo, the Saw 10th Anniversary re-release was the third worst performing wide release of all time, grossing only $650,000 this weekend. That puts it just behind Delgo and Oogieloves In the Big Balloon Adventure.

To put that in perspective, the movie took home a per screen average of $315. Depending on ticket prices, that means in the average theater, only 20-25 people saw the movie throughout the entire weekend.

That is a massive failure for the franchise, especially considering the re-release was intended in part to get people excited for another potential Saw movie, as we previously reported. But these numbers are grim enough that it could very well be the death nail for the franchise. We’ll have to see if the producers are still planning to go through with the new film.

Is anyone really surprised people didn't flock to SAW on HALLOWEEN when it was released considering everyone and their brother were probably partying or with friends?

I suppose he might get the flatface symptoms or still crash the game. But I don't think it would show on him.

Also I finally got around to try DP, and it surprisingly runs ok. not great but ok. But I couldn't play any further than the intro, the text box was all weird to unreadable, and before that it asked me to install something. Did you ever get asked that when you booted up the game Mazer?

Hey Justin...played the first 2 levels of Hyrule with 2 players...

zero framerate...I wonder if the latest update fixed that.

I played it on the PS3 personally. I heard there are boot issues for the intro. Check the steam forums for work-arounds?

hey smirky there is a game kinda like that, look up clay fighters 1/3 for n64, they had some Christmas characters on there fighting, but not a whole cast

I remember that game. It was weird but in a good way. But just imagine Rudolph fighting the Little Drummer Boy.
