Destroying objects (I.E. If bullet hits item, item explodes)
Player lives
Player score
How to have player die
How to give the game options
Importing sounds
Having sounds play when event occurs


Learning:

Variables
Grouping items together
Importing custom graphics
Scrolling cameras
Text Boxes/Cinematics
Custom animations for characters (Sprite sheets)

Looking up royality-free, free to use sprites right now...

Mostly for effects like explosions. I have a 4 day vacation coming up so I am going to test importing gifs and my own sprites to see if I Can make a ship explode.

I actually use less of the page than you see >.>

I make two lines, both 7/8 inch wide, from the top to account for the scanner cut off. If I had a spiral bound sketchbook instead of what I have now (traditional book), I wouldn't have to do that.

I'm a bit confused in the bouncing properties in the chocobreak tutorial. The object is set to bounce, yes, but it sometimes bounces off in random directions, and I have no idea why.

I accomplished the following (in about 10 minutes)

2 objects on screen, both shooting in the direction they are pointing.

Bullets destroy when hits an object


Now I am trying to see how one moves opposite of the other...

I figured out how to make enemies Spawn...Justin, I'll love to show you. Let's go over this on Friday or Sat. I have the days off.

ALSO JUSTIN!!! There are Hidden Commands in the game.

Create Condition

Choose the Gears. This lets you choose options like "Always" and whanot.

Going to learn loops later...
