Unless you are specifically designing the game for the last generation systems to begin with, they should not be part of the design process.  A game should be developed to a systems strengths, not hap-haphazardly downscaled and ported to weaker systems.  By the same merit a "new" game should not start with next gen hardware IF last generation ports are a factor, else we end up with buggy and inferior products.

It's not like we ar egetting quality next-gen games to begin with though. A teensy amount, sure, but it's looking pretty meh right now. Most of "next gen" are HD "remakes".

I don't know what to think about this.  On one hand it is obvious that they at least viewed the original show, on the other hand they can still fuck it up.

Issues:

Gadget intentionally shoves the message into the Chief's mouth.
Gadget let's Penny and Brain into the secret service HQ
Car just...morphs. It doesn't have that bad-ass animation of it transforming like the originals

Pros:
Feels very Inspector Gadget like

Please don't:

Make a love interest between Penny and Claw's kid
Make Gadget 100% retarded
Make Brain speak at all >.>
