I just got that text...I felt like I was punched in the gut...wtf...

I knew that he had been ill, but I thought that he had recovered.

That's what I thought...I got the text from a friend and almost dropped my drink...I was horrified to read it...

I am worried about what Nintendo plans to do next, but for the time being that it is not the most important thing. In retrospect I suppose it makes sense: Iwata has not been in public anywhere near as much, so I think it is safe to assume he knew he was getting worse.

I am concerned about how it will move forward...He was a huge advocate against the saturation of mobile-gaming, micro-transactions, etc....it worries me

It is just sad all around. Iwata's death put a damper on everything, I am trying to cheer myself up by visiting various sites I enjoy but almost all of them are gaming sites and sharing the same news.
