old reviews of stuff here
but I am really focused on my writing (to the point that I could have a patreon if I want because I am writing enough to release a chapter a week with ease )

I have stopped playing most games unless it is with friends or marvel puzzle quest (which MPQ I do in the morning to wake up or during other things)

Well you can keep your writing skills sharp by adding to reviews on a bi weekly basis?

what type of reviews are you looking for as about the only things I could review right now are tv shows or anime as I haven't played any games besides mobile games and MPQ in like 2-3 weeks now >.<:

A while ago I tried running a website called "Words Per Minute" that had reviews and movie/game news. I think Justin, Smirky, Tense, and I all tried contributing but we just were not able to keep up with other sites that produce news daily so we ended up burning ourselves out over it

ah... after two days of planning I can get back to seriously writing now that I have all 16 fighters in the main tournament decently well defined.

which is good because my original draft of their tournament is basically unusable as I have redone all of the combat, and removed all weapons

I would be willing to write a few short reviews or blogs from time to time, but It will always come after my scholastic and employment endeavors.

Well, today was nice up until a few minutes ago. So, there's a 4 way stop right at the edge of the school I work at. I stop, I didn't see anything/anyone so I started moving forward. About a half a second later I stop as a guy on a bike swerves away from me and angrily motions for me to go. I pass through the intersection and see him flipping me off in my rear view mirror.

I didn't see him at all until he swerved out of the way. I feel like shit @_@

I'm happy that at least some japanese companies see that western censorship is an issue, Bamco and Inti Creates are assuring that Gal*Gun Double Peace and Tales of Berseria will be uncensored in the west, they acknowledge that fans of these games don't want censorship.

Meanwhile I will buy Star Ocean 5 and Tokyo Mirage Sessions only used from some private sellers on ebay, I'm sick of this puritanic bullshit and not going to support it with my money.
And to be brually honest, if that means they rather don't localize at all in the future, so be it.

Oh, also Hollywood is remaking (yeah shocking i know) Jumanji... starring The Rock...

Only slightly (as far as we know) so it shouldn't bother anyone else here, I have zero tolerance though unless it's to avoid an AO ratiing or even legal actions, since those 2 cases are just beyond the publisher's control, so I can't really punish them for something that's not their fault. But in those cases they only should censor for the regions where it is necessary, like they do for my country, or better said did since german censorship of violence in games is on a steady decline.


also censorship is pretty much confirmed in this statement:

“Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE was localized by Atlus in a way that is consistent with the localization work they do on games they publish,” a Nintendo representative said to Game Informer.

“It was a priority to ensure the game feels familiar and appeals to longtime Atlus fans. Any changes made to the in-game content were due to varying requirements and regulations in the many different territories Nintendo distributes its products.”
