Gen Chat XVIII: Castlevania is the bewbs

I tinkered with RPG maker some more over the day. I definitely get the feeling that I understand enough to make a rudimentary game now; I just need to come up with a story and level structure to actually put in place.

Paper Mario: & The Thousand Year Door.  For an RPG it is relatively short (10-15 hrs, so perfect for a one day marathon) and it tends to focus more on light puzzles and story than grinding or battles. It focuses more on the details and less on the grand scope, so it comes off as highly polished.  I speak no hyperbole when I say I consider it to be Nintendo's best game to date, perhaps not their "greatest", but certainly the closest to achieving perfection.

(Is biased out the ass for this game)

In other news: Season 3 of Voltron is out on Netflix. I really enjoy the show, it reminds me a lot of Avatar the last Airbender, just. . . worse.

It was hard as balls.

There's something about Inklings that's really difficult. The bodies I can fudge fine, it's their heads, eyes, facial proportions and general head proportions that I can't wrap my head around.

They're ovals yet perfect circles. They're shaped like Stewie's head from family guy yet less football like. They're perfect circles yet ovals and the eyes follow the same pattern. It's weird.

In a school, was looking for a pc to read a weird looking SD card, ran into a girl from school that I'm friends with on facebook that would always say, "Hi." Some random dude at a nearby table got annoyed with how she says "hi" to me, said he was mad about it, called her ugly. I went wtf, a friend of hers stepped up to get in said dude's face, then I woke up.

I have no idea what any of this means.

I maybe able too. I got a GC emulator working once on my pc. I am sure I can do it again. I need to look into it ^-^

neither am I but I'm trying something. My toony self-portrait (that I had been putting off making for months) is now my avatar for everything. Original plan was just to use it for my art junk like my patreon, deviantart, tumblr avatar but thought, why not everything else, eh?
