it takes place after M day, the mutant population is down to around 200 or so and there hasn't been a mutant birth in years. One day, a mutant child (Hope) is born (which causes cerebro to explode) and she is believed to be the mutant messiah. I won't say any more cause I don't want to give away too much

I started and finished all three yesterday, I really enjoyed them and I reread the third book earlier this morning lol

edit: I suppose I should mention the price, each book is about 20 bucks, Messiah complex is still $17 (I think) while Messiah War is $23

Hey Mazer, if you finished Deadpool classic, then I suggest moving onto Agent X. It's pretty much the sequel to that and it bridges the story to Cable and Deadpool. It's hilarious as hell and only 15 issues long. You will probably have to download though, I don't think it's in print anymore.
