I don't see why that would be a turn off perse. it's a fundamentally different game from blazblue in many ways, even with the inputs.

I'm not too fond of it now either. Once the initial impressiveness of the world dies down, the game is quite below mediocre.

See? This is why I stop buying hyped games. It's just like FF 13 or RDR, or GTA4, etc...everyone loves it but months later they all go "Oh...yeah...it wasn't that awesome afterall"
