the catacombs map was pretty fun, the other two are J'avo maps and I found both of them to be rather crummyrobbi86 wrote:How are they? would you say it's worth the 2.97$?LegendX48 wrote:yeah, three maps, 99 cents eachrobbi86 wrote:wait, there's a map pack for mercenaries in RE6?LegendX48 wrote:Heh, didn't see that post lol

I stopped playing after the first boss.....the game kicked my ass D:
Re: What did you just buy? Vol.1
I stopped playing Dark Souls for about a month after not being able to beat a certain boss, then I finally came back to it and ended up beating the boss pretty quickly. Now Dark Souls is my second favourite game, and I'm hoping this one will be at least almost as good. ^_^

That's why they're such rewarding experiences. You get your ass kicked so bad, but by the time you've finally finished you feel like the ultimate badass. No other game has really given me that feeling.

I think it's bull when people try to lower what the game is by saying "It's all patterns".
Well duh, of course it is. This is why its so hard. You need to learn patterns and every enemy is different. It's like the oldschool games where you wait until you see every attack before you try to kill something. This way you will be able to gauge your next move properly.
It's classic gaming in an HD shell

Exactly. It's the reason why they're so great, because you learn things yourself without gratuitous HUD elements like massive arrows or constant button prompts. Playing a CoD type game after playing a Souls game makes you feel like a spoon fed baby.
