Also, I'm still enjoying Magic High School. I don't know what you're disliking about it, but I'm still being entertained. It helped that I had no preconceived notions coming into the show, though.

As for Naruto, manga is the way to go. I'll check in on the anime now and then just to watch certain parts, fights mainly. Other than that, I don't care about it.

I felt the same way when I reached episode 20. I thought it was good, but not amazing. After the Exam arc, it gets really interesting and then the arc I'm on right now (Yorknew Arc), it gets so awesome!

Also I didn't really expect much of Magic High School either, but the first episode brought my hopes up a lot and then it just never really blew me away after that. According to readers of the LN, they haven't done the best job adapting it.

I'm almost done with the Yorknew arc! It's so good!!!!

Yorknew is nothing compared to Greed Island. Greed Island is the best arc of the series.

Which SPIDER do you like the most?

I have a crush on the girl with the glasses; the one who uses a vacuum cleaner. String girl is awesome. You see her more later.

I really love the big strong guy. Which part of Yorknew are you at?

Finished the ep with Kurapika and Uvo's fight. Killua and Kurapika are my faves.

I love their fight. Uvo is a fantastic character. Evil but he also has friends which is interesting. How long did the fight last again? It was pretty decently long in the 2004 version

Hmm...and ep or two, I think. Anyhow, am now on the part where they're done with that and moving on to getting Greed Island. This show is a solid 8 so far.

Greed Island should boost it to a 9. It's my favorite arc in the entire series and it's the part of the manga I read the most Very Happy

Watched the first two eps of Jinsei and Sabagebu, both are interesting. Especially
Sabagebu, it's pretty weird and funny.

Just finished the Yorknew arc. It was so good!

And Luna, how the hell do you binge anime so fast!?!?!?!?! You got further in HxH in 3 days than I did in 3 weeks.

After a while I just get bored and need to take breaks here and there. Especially with a show like HxH, I just can't go straight through 58 episodes 3 days. I just have no time to do that.

All I have to say is that: I'm impressed.

Good. I was actually going to recommend that one to you, but it went over my head. It personally isn't my cup of tea, but I can see why some people may like it.

Also I watched Bland Dance of the Elementalers last night. I think it's my guilty pleasure of the season, lol!

Yep, that sounds just about right with After Story. Where exactly are you in it?

And sweet! Did you end up buying it?

I'm not happy, I rather get sleep...annoying heat.

Lol, the mc is so cute when he's cross dressing. *_*

I read the manga of that one, it's ok. I'm waiting for it to go somewhere(am on ch. 19).

irk...worst...arc....ever

At least in the manga because you can tell the author was getting lazy near the middle of the series. Plus we had to wait about a year and a half for new chapters to come out.

Some awesome monster design though.

Where are you?

And thoughts on Greed Island?!

Greed Island was ok, Yorknew was much better.
Spoiler:
I'm gonna stop watching it for now and gonna watch other stuff. This arc really bumps down the show for me. I'd give it a 7, right now.

The ant arc? Yeah; easily the worst of the whole series. I don't care about the killing or anything but the character development and stuff kinda goes all over the place...the ending to the ant arc is so...eh...also it's just suckey

I am going off the manga.

You see, the problem with the ant arc is that it was the first time the author started censoring the series. So we got these huge black bars over even some of the more mild violence. Also halfway through the arc the author went on a 2 year break and when he came back the artwork was rushed and the way he wrapped things up got irritating. It was pretty much like the Buu Saga where you keep thinking it will finally end but it doesn't.

After the ant arc is this political arc which is decent but still you can tell the author lost his passion

You see, I'm basing my judgment off the anime and I hear there's no censoring or any of that crap and that the mood and tone are borderline perfect.
