Pokemon Amie is the most OP thing ever. Maximizing my Gardevoir's closeness has made him the most badass lvl81 Gardevoir ever. I'm fighting the Champion right now to help lvlup my lesser pokes, and his first Pokemon used Toxic on Gardevoir, causing poison effect. For a moment I was like "Well fuck, this is going to get messy..." and then Gardevoir shakes it off through sheer force of will so I wouldn't worry. Pokemon Amie has single-handedly allowed the game to pull shit you'd only see in the anime if you put the time and effort.

I gave my Metagross "Hold Back" for this reason. It's nice move that will not kill regardless of how powerful you are. Even if your opponent is critically low, that health is gonna stop at 1. Real handy when catching Pokes that don't want to stay in the ball. Almost all of my legendary catches consist of my Metagross spamming Hold Back until I can't see their health anymore, and then throwing Ultra Balls until something gives.

I really should. Lordy, the stuff she puts on her page...she once was talking about how she wants to move to Australia because min wage was raised to 15$/hr. When I mentioned that after the wage was increased, unemployment rose about 25% for people ages 18-31 because stores stopped hiring (with sources) she said

"don't care. Moving there"
