Legend, the original Resident Evil 1 was on the PS1. Then it was remade on GC, which at the time was basically a HD remake. The REmake you're hype for is a HD remake of the GC version, which was originally a HD remake of the original for PS1.

The game does look very good. HOWEVER it is just ANOTHER GOD DANG HD "upgrade" of an older game - something that has become a huge trend now for the so-called "next gen" consoles.

It kinda defeats the purpose as well IMO. What is the point of re-skinning a game when the character models still look like block monsters? Isn't half the point of a new console to replace such things? I game should not be called a "remake" unless the game has actually been remade; just re-skinning it and nothing else is a halfassed effort that no one is fooled by.

The interiors, new lighting, and improved backgrounds are very nice I won't lie, but SERIOUSLY a majority of Next Gen is becoming this remake garbage!

Agreed. I will admit it is nice for players who never played the game before, but it is still a lazy effort as compared to what could and in all honestly should be done.

well for one thing, its Capcom, for the other, they're not remaking the game, they're giving an upgrade to res and such.

I don't care all that much to be honest, being able to play it legit on my pc is good enough for me :3

I don't know if it's just my crappy computer but Chrome fucking sucks. It literally doesn't let me on Twitter, multiple sites are always slightly broken in some way, and I'm always having to reload pictures.

Chrome seems to be a hit and miss; it either runs fine on your computer or fucks up majorly on another.
