So the Brutalities are basically fatal endings to regular specials and grabs in MKX.
It works a bit like Babalities I think, where you don't want to block on the final round, and it auto-activates if you beat your opponent with a special attack.
For instance, Kung Lao's grab includes him bending you backwards over his knee, then Fist of the North Starring the fuck out of your face before kicking you away.
The Brutality variant is that he starts the rapid punches, but then hesitates before punching three more times especially forcefully, with the opponent's spinal column finally giving way in the final punch.
Or Scorpions chain exploding you when he adds a incendiary exponent to it.

I need to try this out...is this during Fatalities or is it something near end of match

It's near the end of the match and appears to have to be the final hit. If you do it successfully, it will skip "Finish Him" altogether and the move you ended with will kill. Has to be a special or a grab tho. Whether it needs to be EX or not I don't know.

EDIT: It can't be that hard, because the people who streamed it though weren't all that great at the game, never failed to do it when they were trying to.

hmm. I like seeing Brutalities return and some of these look very badass. Do you think it is true that there are over 100 of them?

Well, considering the number of characters there will be in the game (excluding DLC) that's basically four Brutalities per character, plus four more for the final boss, making it a solid 100 count using that logic, so it can't be too far off. That's one per character type, and their grabs.

It's funny, it came out and I had completely forgotten about it. That's one of the movies I was most excited about when it was first announced. I'm kinda sad that it wasn't made with the Marvel stamp on it, but it's fine. I never read many of the comics for it, though.

Same one as before-Fallen London. There is a massive amount of content to the game, just have to put the time in.
