On another note. Is there literally any reason to visit ScrewAttack anymore? All their user content is practically thrown out the window and the site has been reduced to nothing more then streams and let's plays :'(

Personally, the ONLY thing that makes it obviously a tablet port is the fight system. Everything else seems like a normal game. What other aspects do you refer to?

I think its just the fight system, been a while since I played it. It looks very nice artistically, but its kinda simpler than I thought it'd be.

I think its just the fight system, been a while since I played it. It looks very nice artistically, but its kinda simpler than I thought it'd be.

Very simple...I barely needed to actually upgrade stealth until the very very end of the game.

Immediate problem I noticed is the it's almost impossible to control and keep track of both ships at the same time long enough to gitgud, since one of them getting hit even once means instant game over. Giving two ships right off the bat is asking too much from the uninitiated or unfamiliar. In more intense levels, you'd be basically derping your eyes in order to properly keep an eye on both of them as you maneuver anywhere away from one another. This is just me, but I think it'd feel better if each ship had their own controls; wasd and ijkl respectively, with space remaining the shoot button for both of them.

Speaking of shooting, there's friendly fire between the two.

As for the level itself, I can dig the Asteroids approach. However, the space you're given is much too small and gives little window to respond to incoming baddies. I found myself dying because I was moving out of the way of a ice rock, only to get game over because my other ship hit a smaller rock that wasn't there before I looked away for an instant. Also the walls being solid is a no-no. I suffered a death because I thought the walls would work the way they would in older games, only to bounce off and ungracefully die again.

That's what I've gathered after bumbling for five minutes. It's looking pretty good beyond my complaints.

In our next version: We made the play area bigger. Also we are working on a tutorial stage so that players can adjust to the controls. I guess we could experiment without having walls and simply have them rotate, but I'm not sure how well that'll turn out for a game with controlling 2 ships. thanks for the input.
