It was good. Some drama, but there were things that were lacking:

1. The arena needs to be redesigned. Too many losses by bots being stuck on the ledges.

2. Only 1 weight class

3. They actually had a "ring out" this year. That should never happen.

I look forward to the day of aerial drone battles and large scale robot battles. Possibly even teams.

Omg, teams would be awesome.

One thing that is really neat is this season allows the use of Micro Bots to assist main bots.

I remember one of the previous shows, robot wars maybe, had like boss robots in the stages. Those guys looked so cool
Also, teams just seems logical, would be so cool.

edit: It was Robot Wars, they were called house robots. I remember how fun that show was.

I imagine there were specific reasons not made to the public. Also - glad to see a majority of the issues (private rooms, level cap increase, etc) has been addressed (as I had faith they would be)

All I want now is a 3 arena rotation and new colors (Red and black esp)

In a thread about Susannah Mushatt Jones, she was born July 6, 1899 and is still alive today.

It's more just Nintendo is a pack of morons than anything. Every piece of "NEW" content that the game has been receiving has all been on the disc since day 1 iirc.

If this is what a rushed Ninty game works out as...than sign me up. It's the most complete, working rushed game I've ever seen

How are they morons? Would you rather have every single tiny bit of content all at once from getgo with nothing really to look forward too?

Or a good amount of content with some fun stuff sprinkled in to keep things fresh until the huge new update?

On disc or not, the fact is - ITS FREE!

it's also begun to grow stale. Coming hot off the heels of their other online heavy games, splatoon was pretty anemic when it came to content. Then again, that's just a symptom of the type of game it is.

Also, now that I think about it, wasn't there an interview somewhere where they said they weren't super confident in the game and kinda did this as a result? Either way, private matches not being in on day 1 is unforgivably retarded.

Dunno about the review but you cannot deny the fact that the community gets mad excited every time a new weapon comes out - on disc or not. The fact is, everyone suddenly switches to the new toys and the matches become fresh again. If this stuff was all there day 1, people would not have much incentive to change styles after trying everything out from the getgo.

Eh... idk. People would still experiment with the weapons and gear. That's how fighting games work and how people find characters they're comfortable with.

Either way, we need to play once the match options are patched in
