- Basically a big plot twist at the end reveals that you aren't even playing as Big Boss, but as a random Mother Base soldier who was given plastic surgery and conditioned to believe he was Big Boss. It feels really shitty knowing that you haven't been playing as the actual character the whole time. The worst part is that the whole thing is so pointless, the only thing it explains is how "Big Boss" died in MG1 and then came back, but no one really cared about that. The story as a whole was really lacking and it's been confirmed that there was a lot of cut content.

It's almost like they wanted to make a different MGS game with new characters but were afraid that if they didn't use someone who was or at least was part of Solid Snake's bloodline it would flop. That would have irritated me just as bad. Might as well been playing a different game with MGS elements. It sounds like Doki Doki Panic becoming Super Mario Brothers 2.

Had some more matches with a dude from neogaf, lost 30 but won 3, 3 matches of pure, blind and stupid luck. God, I wish Mila had more moves and options, I like her a lot but she is insanely predictable and all of her moves are extremely obviously telegraphed light years in advance or w/e the proper word is. She has little to no kicks to speak of and is absolutely nothing but high punches and then more high punches. Her ground grapples are fucking worthless when the other player knows that tech rolls exist and I'm just left with a character that has no tools, cannot get a safe poke in as the entirety of the cast moves double her speed and can throw and connect a full punch before she even gets through the first eighth of any of her attack animations. If there was no counter/hold mechanic I'd be having a much easier time :\
I'm really getting closer and closer to just being fucking done with this game which is extremely irritating cause it's incredibly fun.
