Granted., any game I try to make with the extra bits I want to include will need scripting. I was just wondering if the engine looked like it was worth checking out? I am not averse to trying new things, I just much prefer to master something and use at apposed to constantly relearning the wheel.

For this one particular playthrough, I played as Marth for the challenge thing.

I usually main as Mr. Game & Watch or R.O.B. but marth is pretty good.

If you would remember my rants about this group, I was pissed off constantly because any effort I had to promote this game, through blogs, videos, screenshots, public showcasing - etc; was always shot down by the lead.

He shot down my blog idea because "He doesn't personally like blogs"

He didn't want me to write tweets or tumblr posts "if not in the voice of the entire company."

He didn't want videos because "We cannot showcase gameplay until it is perfect."

He didn't want trailers because of above...


Hell, when the guy who co-made this game with me and I got fed up, we made our own trailer and posted it on STEAM. That was the trailer that got us on Greenlight. It was the trailer that got us moving forward, and all he did was piss off about it because we didn't get his approval...



So now that he is gone- in 4 days we got:

1. Website back up and running
2. 3 trailers in the works
3. 7 gameplay levels recorded
4. promoting the game at the Wizard World Las vegas convention
5. T-shirt designs being planned
6. Collaboration with a Vegas video-game store to post flyers and posters of the game. We are also providing the store a special steam code that lets people unlock a store-themed ship (it will be one of the jets using the store's colors) if they find out about it at the store...



All because no one is holding me back anymore.

So Mazar succeeded a coup, eh? Huzzah! I hope heads rolled and rivers were dyed red in blood.

I have done more work for this company in the 4 days since he quit/forced to leave than I have in the 3 years since we started...

I'd read it, but the website is garbage, as any site that disables Ctrl+ mouse wheel up to zoom in is automatically garbage as I use a TV as my monitor and not being able to zoom in means I can't read the site without moving closer >.<;

Many industry insiders have speculated that the console will somehow merge home and portable play, and this new update might explain how. Apparently the system features a detachable HDMI dongle that fits flush with its design. This allows gamers to play NX titles on any monitor. The technology is supposedly an evolved version of the Wii U's game streaming feature and isn't too far flung from Google's Chromecast.

The idea of the NX being a portable console is very concerning to me...

Then again, if its power rivals that of the XBOne, and it's portable, the NX is pretty beefy.

what I have been assuming for a long time is that the NX will be about on par with the vita in terms of power as a handheld, and it will have a home dock that you can play the handheld games on by synching the NX that will also be a home console that can use the NX handheld as a controller.

aka a lot like what the wiiu would have been if they were smart and designed the 3ds to be the controller instead of a different one and allowed you to play 3ds games on your tv through the wiiu.

I sincerely hope that the "NX" handheld rumor is only true in the sense that it is their next handheld system, and not their home console; with the home console being its own system, albeit one with major compatibility/gamepad-esc streaming features for the handheld.
