General Chat 12: It's 2016 with games aplenty

I enjoyed 1 but i hated the 2nd.

I hate most movies that shove hiphip ghetto garbage in our fave as ifbit was funny and we had 2 ghetto bits who somehow killed one of the most powerful Decepticons in existance?

I think I said it before but I despise Bay's Transformer's, even more so because of that we got Rise of the Dark Spark insted of an actual 3rd Cybertron game, because they just had to connect the games with the movie universe at all costs, while forgetting to make a good game out of it.

I think that was more Activision than anything. After all, they're the idiot company who decided to take the Cybertron team and transfer them all over to the CoD porting factory and then gave the Cybertron franchise to a porting team.

Got a great franchise or new one? Make sure to sell it to a 3rd party who has no idea why the previous versions were great!

I also heard the NX is gonna be capable of 4k resolution.

While seeing 4k on my new TV with Mad Max....I honestly don't see why it is such a massive deal with gaming...I mean what is funny is the fact that so many games barely push 1080p and yet people are clamoring for 4k now.

cause it's the new thing coming in that isn't a gimmick like 3D or, even though I really want an Occulus Rift, VR.

Also, Mad Max isn't 4k. No 4K blu-rays are actually 4K because movies are mastered at 2k (which is stupid as shit considering the size of theater screens, but I digress). If you want a legit 4k experience, get a beefy as shit gpu and hook up your pc to your 4k tv, otherwise, wait. Movies that were shot on film are going to have a clear advantage when it comes to those that were shot digitally in terms of picture quality and legit 4k transfers when more 4K blu-rays start hitting stores.

edit: Correction, there are legit 4k blu-rays, but not a whole lot

2nd edit: regardless, 2k is still a leap above 1080p and has improvements over it that show by way of deeper/richer colors, being capable of having and showing more color depth and what have you.

Man I really don't care, I jumped on HD around the middle of the 7th gen and only upgraded to a TV that can do Full HD last year, and both times it was because of sales.

keep in mind this is likely referring to the ps4 and not the ps4.5 or xbox 1.5 so the next nintendo console could still be the weakest of the big 3.

it doesn't matter to me though. the next nintendo console could be 100 times more powerful than the ps4 and $300 and I still likely wouldn't touch it for a few years.

I think I watched all episodes, not as good as the original but still pretty entertaining, and for sure more diverse than whatever Feig is doing, one of them was in a wheelchair ffs. Also, it was a friggin continuation with appearences of the old Ghostbusters, and Slimer of course, and less slapstick bs than that Feig movie's trailers alone... argh I'm starting to feel the rage again >_<
The games are garbage though, typical license crap imo.

I feel extreme ghostbusters is where the movies should have gone. It was a very smooth transisition from the original to the new and i loved the characters.

I also like the more serious tone and topics. I am watching the Hellraiser episode right now. The Sphinx one is another favorite.

Yeah sure that's pretty much the best Ghostbusters game there is, and I even liked the C64 and Master System versions of the 1st Ghostbusters game (the one with the city map), I meant specifically games using the Extreme Ghostbusters license, which are all utter garbage.
I heard they are making a new game for the movie and I'm scared, lol.

1 on GBC, 1 on GBA, 2 on PC and 1 on PS1 and they all are
