I'm probably making a much larger deal out of the drawing that goes live tomorrow/Sunday (which I actually did on Thursday and only took me about 5 minutes) but I just LOVE the way it came out. Now to work on character design around my school schedule cause school starts in two days.

At first I had a Haunted Hollows script I had intended on turning into a comic but decided against as the first page came out shockingly horrid. Then I wanted to work on something I'm calling Among Giants (a semi "author avatar" like idea), that I came up with during my school comeback last year which is now currently on the backburner. Now, now I want to do something with mechs!!!

If nothing else, I'm gonna spend time figuring out how at least two of these new characters will look.

Damn, that's impressive

so our community mailbox has been sort of messed up for 4 (or so) days now. Messed up as in the whole thing is just open, the door(s) that the mail person unlocks to put mail in the little boxes are both open... I have no clue if I need to call someone about it or if the post office knows about it but we've missed at least 3 days worth of mail because of it.

if anyone is really bored. I did the neogaf writing challenge this month (the goal was for a 6 minute story, posting a rough draft with no edits first, and then if you get to it a second draft with edits before the deadline)

I have my first draft with no edits.

I liked it a lot overall. The atmosphere was great and the design of the house was really cool. The plot was actually decent in an RE game for once and the way they slowly revealed certain information was done really well. The whole thing ended on a bit of a bum note though, with that boring last area that just had you mow down a load of tar monsters and the last boss was pretty much a glorified quick time event.

Ah. I was initially disappointed as it just felt like an amalgamation of indie horror, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, P.T., and Silent Hill with a hint of Evil Dead. It was basically Outlast with a gun to me for a while. The more I mulled it over, along with the more let's plays I watched, my thoughts on it changed. It really is sort of built/paced like the original RE with some indie stuff thrown in. There's some really questionable stuff for me like the game literally having an

along with how the "biohazard" was pushed to the point of just being outright supernatural. Speaking of which... I liked the final areas and the boss fight >.> though, I'll admit, it's one of the weaker fights.
