so the new monster hunter game actually doesn't look bad to me


Detroit and spiderman also looked solid.

If Detroit actually allows such a huge variety of choices...I may get interested.

Spiderman is a total purchase for me. Batman style gameplay with Spiderman abilities? Sold. Maybe not at full price, but sold.

Other than that...the conference was underwhelming. Most of everything shown were things I already knew about.

You know I don't like Monster Hunter. Nothing wrong with the game itself, it just chooses to do things that I do not care for and annoy me rather than entertain me.

also I actually managed to get motivated to go into storage, though sadly I can't find the last thing I want to send you so now I have to dig around or wait for some more to come in at work @_@

also no love for playing as coco in the crash trilogy remake?

I like Monster Hunter and Koenig likes Monster Hunter.

Also Monster Hunter World looks dope. Gonna get it on PC.

Crash bandicoot remake? Not really. I never played those games.

The only games I really played on PS1 were:
Twisted Metal
Resident Evil
Monster Rancher
Final Fantasy and a few other random JRPGs

the ps4 is selling fine there, and monster hunter won't make a huge difference there since it's not a portable version.

capcom a while back said they were interested in trying again on a console instead of a handheld, that is likely all this is.

core pokemon for the switch was a non announcement. especially since they wouldn't confirm 2018, so will most likely be 2019 or 2020.

that is like saying there is going to be a call of duty game releasing next year :/

anyways, while I am still going to keep my preorder. xenoblade 2 looks terrible graphic/artistically. a sequel 2 gens later shouldn't look worse than the original.

odessey looks interesting especially since they have said their is some form of multiplayer in it. here's hoping luigi also has a magic hat.

yoshi and kirby looked decent.
I want to care about fire emblem warriors but they still haven't confirmed any co op play let alone local co op on one console.

any game that has it shouldn't lose it.
but don't expect it for any future game either.

I imagine we will see some more ps4/pc cross play titles, but I don't think sony wants to play nice with nintendo or microsoft as they are currently the market leader, and right now there are a ton of people who have to get a ps4 to play with their friends. if they opened it up then little jimmy could get a switch or an xbox to play with his friends on the ps4 and that doesn't help them move more ps4.

if sales die down for them (which seems unlikely this gen) then they might get on, but I doubt even if some want to do it that their shareholders want them to.

After playing Hyrule Warriors, FE Warriors tickles my interest. MP is not a deal breaker for me. I dun have people to play with most of the time if it is local. If it has online co-op tho, I'll play with you guys.

Pokemon Console may be non-announcement but people are crazy excited for it.

Mario Odyssey maybe the first 3D mario I really enjoy since Sunshine. I am so excited with the new mechanics they are showcasing.

The ammibos for BOTW, Mario, and Metroid II are things I NEED in my life. I keep waiting for the preorder announcements.
