yeah I didn't watch railgun either but I'll vote for it
I agree it's turning into a cluster fuck instead of a battle

I think you guys underestimate SNAFU. Even with the shenanigans, SNAFU won by 1 vote. If anything SNAFU has the underhand because of anti-hype and AoT's sheer numbers can't make an appearance unless they have 1000 points or over.
BTW, there was a good amount of people that voted for SNAFU that were smurfs/brand new users so it went both ways.

I'm not, I just don't like that SnK was given another chance when others weren't. It was getting it's ass kicked when all the wierdness happened and even at the end it still lost. All these new rules should just have been implemented for the final if they were gonna be done so at all. I know that this time people went much farther, but it still felt wrong to me.

But we don't know just how many votes were legit or not. I'm obviously bias because I want AoT to win the whole thing, but I would have been fine if chrome decided to just apply it to the final. But she didn't want to do that so I'm fine with a rematch.
Also let's be real here, AoT vs Railgun in the final is going to be way more fun than Railgun vs SNAFU. Railgun will obliterate SNAFU. It won't even be a contest.

The Rialgun fans are soooooo strong! Most of them have 1000 points too.
Well now that I think about it, the 1000 point rule is going to change a lot of things. I can't really predict how it's going to go down now since no more randoms will swap in.

Re: The WSS Anime Thread
Exactly, and people have been saying that all the railgun matches have had some shenanigans, mainly the match vs Magi. You say it's so strong and that it'll obliterate snafu, yet it's come down to the wire for it most of the time, hasn't it? It barely beat Kyousou Giga and I'm pretty sure snafu has a lot more backing than KSGG.
If I'd done what you did and just asked Squirrel and Legend to vote for it, it would have at least tied. But I'm not about that. I asked Squirrel to watch it and vote for it, but I guess she didn't have enough time. As for Legend....yeah.

Luna, it's pretty damn strong. It's pulled out every match on top in one way or another. But I'll give you that the tides have changed and things may be different now. We'll see how the AoT vs SNAFU rematch goes.
And in the bold, you make it sound what I did was a bad thing. I asked Legend because he had an account and had a subscription. When it comes down to it, I want to win and I'll work the system if I have to as long as it's fair. Thus, why I asked Legend because of the reason I stated and why I started the campaigning/necroposting of official threads. All of it was allowed, but no one really thought of it.
It's not like I went to Reddit or even asked the Mazer and everyone else to go make accounts and vote. That's just lame. I did what I had to do to win and I did it in the confines of CR (I didn't go to outside sources besides Legend that already ahd an account). And even though I did all that, my shows still lost.

Re: The WSS Anime Thread
If I thought it was wrong, I would have pointed it out in the thread. But the main reason I never did that is because it was a slippery slope. People would see you doing that and they'd do the same and from there it'd escalate as they tested the merits of the tournament until it got here. I'm not saying it's your fault or that you were wrong to do so, I'm just saying I wouldn't do that.

Fair enough. Though I think people would have gone to outside sources anyways, but the necroposting could have been the thing that got everything rolling which I'm not guilty about because it's other people's problems if they felt the need to go to other sites to get votes.
Though now, we have a system to counter outside sites from pouring in so now the necroposting will be the only way to recruit people.

Re: The WSS Anime Thread
Yeah, I just hate the direction it went it. There was always an unspoken rule and understanding that it was related to CR. After all, it's being held there. Like I said to chrome, I still want justice to be doled out! XD
But there's nothing we can do other than enact more rules. I said it before, I'll say it again, this is how a bureaucracy starts.

It went overboard for sure. I was pretty disappointed when I saw the day-one accounts created and then they were voting for AoT. Just gave more reasons for people to go against AoT.
And haha ya, now we have better rules in place, it should just get better from here on out. Plus, there's going to be more competitions throughout the year started by other users so we'll be able to see a lot of different strategies. So you're bureaucracy idea isn't too far off haha. We should have a pretty good system by the time the 2014 Battle Thread starts.

Yeah, but still bummed that this happened. This tourney seems to have been much larger than last years, too.

I've never seen so that's why I voted for AoT.

Re: The WSS Anime Thread
Last year I think there was barely 40 people voting. Now we have double that.
And I get too hyped when I talk about Akame ga Kill. I need go to take a walk and let the emotions die down lol.

I think that post was enough and mine is a bit of a support for it. It got one person interested. I just hope the adaptation is worthy.

I feel like we did it some justice and I have full and utter faith in White Fox. They're a great studio and the since the author is supervising the project, I have even more faith.
