now that is sexy...

So how will they move? I was wondering if you want them to stay fixed in the center field and move around in a set circle formation.

Hmmm... Well, I want it to where they can move around freely. It gives the player the option of planning out attacks. I just wished the turning would be more smooth. If you want, I can email you what I have done so far. It pretty much has the general idea of the movement I am trying to get.

I am concerned moving freely can result in very easy deaths since one mirrors the other...but it is something we need to playtest first I think

Well, yeah. That is one of the challenges of the game. I imagine that the gameplay will require some multitasking which will add to the challenge.

Also, I made 3 different asteroids (rock, fire, & ice). Do you know how to get them to float around like in the game asteroids? Or know a tutorial?

P.S. Do you need me to send you the test file I've been working on? Also, are we at Pre-alpha? or Pre-Beta?

Pre-alpha and go ahead, send me the files.

Floating around? There may be a movement type for that in the movement dropdown. Test a few out

I gave the file a shot. One thing I think may not work, however, is killing the player when the ships hit each other D:

With bullets or if they crash into each other? If it's the latter, I suppose we could test the game without them getting destroyed if they run into each other, but I think it's necessary for a good challenge. I worked on the game a little bit more, and I think resizing the ships may help out some.

With how fast they move and the fact you are technically controlling only 1 ship; I think them hitting each other may frusterate more then challenge...

but tis just my view. Maybe when we scale the game up more

click BUILD INSTALLER and follow the prompts. Also make sure you don't click OK - click BUILD INSTALLER inside the prompts

If you think about it, There's really only one spot that the ships will crash into each other. and that's dead center.

Okay, instead of being destroyed, they now bounce off each other. I suppose the recovery time will add to the difficulty.
