*just got back from Target with the Steelbook edition* Thanks for the tip, Legend!
I nearly did when I saw it in theaters.
I cannot help but shake my head at the Disney haters who keep acting like the studio is some kind of heartless machine when they continue to make amazing, fantastic movies such as this.
Well...
- Spoiler:
- Hiro did say "Our parents died when I three."
Which was really awful and lazy exposition but still...

Well, in reality there are a lot of people who have a hard time saying that someone they love is dead. Saying "Dead" adds finality to the situation that some people have issues accepting.
- Spoiler:
Hiro does actually say that Tadashi is dead but later says "gone" instead anyway when using the word "dead" would've had much more impact. Same with Callaghan.
Also, aunt Cass is kinda hot...

Anyone here who lives in Canada willing to help me out until Friday. I don't have any food in the house at the moment I'm bone dry. All I need is 10 bucks via Email money transfer. I can pay you back Friday morning when I get paid. NO this isn't some sorta scam or anything like that. This is out of fucking desperation.

Not to make light of your situation, but I'm starting to think of you as a "foul mouthed Dr. Zoidberg."

Hey Bear! I got a new idea for a series for you that might help promote the game that me and Mazer have been working on and get you views on youtube. If you make a video of yourself playing and reacting to our designs of our game people might gain interest in it.
So Bear whaddya say, wanna try our game on your channel?
Also, you can criticize the game if you want to, we build from criticism.

Poor Mazer *having one of them non-entertaining chaotic days*
Also: Who would literally like to be in a video game? I am going to work on one that uses people's heads as ships.

Sure, now keep in mind my PC isn't that great, so recording a video may be tough but I might be able to do it no problem.

Keep in mind though, so far this is the only build of the game we have so far, and it's in pre-alpha stage. most of the issues that are in this version are currently being worked on. We'll let you know when the next version will be ready.

I'm not into the series, but I find it interesting. But that's mainly because of my thoughts surrounding the rating system and the dissonance between what they are supposed to mean and what they practically mean.LegendX48 wrote:so, what's everyone think about Batman Arkham Knigt being rated M?

Re: Gen Chat .01 Alpha Version
I am curious what makes it M. I am not sure if that idea excites me or disappoints me as it may lean towards more of a "violent" for violence sake crowd.
Re: Gen Chat .01 Alpha Version
Maybe it has a darker story. Although, I am kinda not surprised that a series such as batman did get a M rating seeing how dark it is. I just hope that they don't take advantage of the M rating and fill the game with F bombs. That would make the game ironically less mature.

Re: Gen Chat .01 Alpha Version
That's what I wondered as well. "M" rated games, far more often than not, are the most immature games out there. Meanwhile, games that have lower ratings tend to be, much more likely to explore something thought provoking or new. As in, most innovation comes from there than the mature games.
Well, that's my perception at least. Just seems that "M" rated games are the ones that play it safest and are anything but "mature." Then again, maybe I should expand my horizons, as far as my choice of games is concerned. But, I'm losing interest in gaming more and more every day, so that's not likely anymore.
