I just about vomited in my coffee cup when I saw the new Bear News Quicky. Holy fuck, I'm only 90 miles away from basically paying 50% more on video games.
I barely buy games here in America at the initial prices, because I feel that SIXTY is a tad too much.

Re: Gen Chat .01 Alpha Version
I rarely buy a game a launch anymore. Not only are they too expensive, but the fact that I don't know if it'll have some sort of annoying glitch turns me off. Not to mention the dlc factor. I just know that a year or so later a "complete/game of the year edition" with all the content will be released.Lux wrote:I just about vomited in my coffee cup when I saw the new Bear News Quicky. Last new game I bought was Halo 4, before that, Mass Effect 3. Both of them Collector's/Limited edition. One of them, ME3, I sold after a week because I was pissed off for the many reason. The other, I did play a lot with my friends, but overall I found inferior to previous games in the series.
The last game I bought at launch, actually pre-ordered, was Civilization Beyond Earth. And I only did that because a website was selling it for 30% off if pre-ordered. I'm largely disappointed with the game and continue to play Civ V.
Anyhow, if games got even more expensive, I'd just completely cut myself off from video games period. I'm already a video game hermit, of sorts, as it is.

If I remember it correctly, Sony was the first to do $70 games, then everyone followed suit, except Nintendo.Lux wrote:I just about vomited in my coffee cup when I saw the new Bear News Quicky. Holy fuck, I'm only 90 miles away from basically paying 50% more on video games.

I nearly did when I saw it in theaters.
I cannot help but shake my head at the Disney haters who keep acting like the studio is some kind of heartless machine when they continue to make amazing, fantastic movies such as this.
Re: Gen Chat .01 Alpha Version
there is one criticism that I do kind of agree with that was made by a YouTuber (Jeremy Jahns). They keep saying/using the word "gone" instead of just saying "dead" and it feels forced and arbitrary.-Mazer wrote:LegendX48 wrote:Now watch it and prepare to weep the manliest of tears!-Mazer wrote:I loved the after credits scene.

Well, in reality there are a lot of people who have a hard time saying that someone they love is dead. Saying "Dead" adds finality to the situation that some people have issues accepting.

- Spoiler:
- Hiro does actually say that Tadashi is dead but later says "gone" instead anyway when using the word "dead" would've had much more impact. Same with Callaghan.
Also, aunt Cass is kinda hot...
