Gen Chat 0V: Paper Fallout of Doom Fantasy Zero

So my youngest brother came out of the closet to me yesterday. He'd already told two of my other brothers, though. He'd been dealing with a lot of issues for a while, we talked all night, until 4 in the morning. It was very...interesting.
I'm sad that he was having issues with depression and self rejection and such. I was really happy he was able to talk to me, though.

Let him know hr has all of our support amd encouragement :)

Yeah, that wasn't even the biggest reveal though. He dropped like 3 big bombs on me. Some pretty bad stuff. I'm thinking over how to talk to him about it. I just want him to know and feel that he has our support.

Just beat my first game of Civ III in years... Took me eight hours but I came to victory by reaching cultural dominance. Hell, I only went to war twice, and that was after being attacked both times.

To summarize: I love Civ III. It has so much heart and complexity to it yet it could take years and I would only scratch the surface. It is however rough around the edges in terms of user interface and certain features. Visually, I find it to be the best in the series, as the sprites and layout along with the stylized icons fit the style of gameplay far better than the almost caricatured models in the later 3D games (Not to mention it also runs several times better)

If the mechanics of Civ III, ALL of them, were fit into the interface of the new civ games and ironed out just a bit, I would have a contender for game of the century.

I don't know if I should. Mainly because I feel like a gossiper, even though that's not what I'm doing. I just don't know what to say....or maybe it's that I just am not sure how to ask more about it. He told me some stuff that happened when he was younger and how it's been affecting him for the past 8 year (fyi, he's 16 right now, so yeah...). I'll say this, him coming out wasn't the biggest part of it. :/

He told two of my other brothers before me, two weeks ago. I guess because they're closer in age(he's the youngest and I'm the eldest). He told the 4th and 5th brother. He has the largest age gap between use all (he's 5 years younger than the 5th brother, where as the rest of us are 1-2 years within each other), though, so I think that's one of the things that made him feel so isolated.

It's because USA are the most closed-minded. For all we know they used it as a cover-up for something because that's what they do.

Anti-American sentiment is everywhere. I am fine with valid criticism, but most of what is out there is just blind hatred and/or propaganda that snowballed from former events.

I don't mind Americans themselves, but man do I hate the politicians and the media.
