Still need a sensor bar to function
Are you surprised? The game's primary fighting system is based off motion.
Also: 2 more episodes left of HellSing Ultimate. So far the woman is enjoying it.

I am actually very suprised. The IR sensor is very stable by comparison to the gyroscope, though less versatile.-Mazer wrote:LegendX48 wrote:*tries to play skyward sword on dolphin*

Yet as far as I can tell the IR sensor was never used in the entirety of Skyward Sword as they went in favor of the gyroscope, albeit often at the cost of good design.

Lol you didnt know that? it was the first thing I did after starting the game.
Also I am tempted to Homebrew my WiiU on the Wii channel...
It will let me play my gamecube games on it...that would be amazing....
Thoughts?

Eh...but the compatibility list is so-so...
I dunno...maybe my PC is strong enough for the GC emulator now?
though....my Wii is still capable of GC games so what's the point?
It's not like I ever use my Nintendo or even my PS2 emulators on my computer anymore.

Re: Gen Chat 9: THE HORROR!
Know what I really want to get my talons on? The Steam Link. I wanna see just how good this little machine can be...if I can get my steam games on my TV, I'll be in Heaven :)
Of course that will be null once I get a proper HD TV in my gameroom since I can hook my PC directly to the TV and use it as a monitor in Big Screen Mode...

I wonder if I should get the new Yoshi game? I really had my heart set on fatal frame but it is not going to happen until it gets a physical release.

You know a physical release for Fatal Frame is 99% not gonna happen.Koenig wrote:I wonder if I should get the new Yoshi game? I really had my heart set on fatal frame but it is not going to happen until it gets a physical release.
Meanwhile, Yoshi's Woolly World is good fun

Re: Gen Chat 9: THE HORROR!
Outside of an interest in letting other people play it, I don't have much interest in Wooly World, and am considering just saving that money for next year.
I am not happy with Nintendo of America for not releasing a physical copy. Why is it that NoE makes 10 times more sense?

well, Europe is basically Sony land so I figure they only have like two options: up their game or die.Koenig wrote:Outside of an interest in letting other people play it, I don't have much interest in Wooly World, and am considering just saving that money for next year.

For some reason I am having nostalgia for Wario World. For the longest time I forgot the game even existed.
