Re: Gen Chat 9: THE HORROR!
Any more idea's for the pop up concept? At this point I am just trying to hone my intuition in designing a game. Nevermind the fact I have no skillz...

I say start honing. Don't want it too big in the opening stages and overwhelm yourself.
Btw; Justin (and Koenig if you buy it) want to collaborate on an RPG MX game?

*uses Battle plugin supplied by DLC(?)*
Ooh, the battle runs much better. Skips messages and reduces window sizes for magic/specials.

*reads comments about Episode 7*
So. According to the Interwebz - Only "butthurt old fanboys" hated the prequels. and that the "Original movies were rather lousy to begin with"...
Hmm.

*Makes Bridge in RPG Maker where you can walk underneath AND across it using a game plugin*

MAZER!!! THIS IS INCREDIBLE!
I've always wanted to do this on RPG Maker... But, I had no idea how the script system worked.

So, Crimson Peak is good but not at all what I expected.

It's more romance than horror, right?

Just finished the first two eps of "Man in the High Castle." It's pretty interesting.

I am still very disappointed in NoA for not releasing a physical copy of Fatal Frame, I was really looking forward to adding it to my collection. Oh well, at least I am enjoying Yoshi more than I expected. It is nothing revolutionary or must have, but it is stagnant quality none the less.

Re: Gen Chat 9: THE HORROR!
Hmm...
The Area size limit for RPG Maker MV is 256x256....
VX Ace can go up to 500x500....
All I can say is Damn. I don't even think 256 is necessary(for me at least), but VX Ace got some big areas. Damn.

Re: Gen Chat 9: THE HORROR!
I disagree. Where 3D World is stagnant and dull as dish water, Woolly World is really the opposite. More creativity in each level than the entirety of some platformers.Koenig wrote:I am still very disappointed in NoA for not releasing a physical copy of Fatal Frame, I was really looking forward to adding it to my collection. Re: Gen Chat 9: THE HORROR!
Yet it still falls short of my expectations of a Nintendo platformer.

Agreed. Every level has cool little elements that separates it from the last. Love seeing the ideas of how to do the elements with yard also (fire as a red and yellow scarf? Awesome)
And making the 100% per level is nail bitingly fun as hell.
