I recommend stuff to people based on what they've previous watched or said they liked. The shows that I recommended to Mazar are Demon King Daimaou, Rogue Aesthetics of a Hero and Problem Children. All are hilarious and fun shows with badass main characters. The first two are echii as fuck, though, but so awesome. If you ever have beta male mc fatigue, watch all of these. The MC's are far from pussies.

That's a nice change for once haha. I'll definitely check out Problem Children though.

No, he's not the worse he's average for that type, but that's still infuriating as hell. Honestly, I think Takamiya's line about kissing only being between married couples is probably the most infuriating line I've heard from that type of character. I'm so glad that show is what it is, otherwise, he'd probably take the cake for most annoying.

I want to say Shinji, but I don't know if he completely fits that character type. He wasn't a goody two shoes and naive person, he was a dick and a coward at times. Maybe the main character of Kimi no Iru Machi, but then again, his love interest is the biggest bitch ever and I fucking hate her so much. She single handedly ruined that series.

Ya Shinji, is pretty horrible. And I've seen the Kimi no Iru Machi on CR. Seems pretty graphic haha.

- Once again, this show is on my annoyance list. It feels like it's much more style over substance.
I still can't over the art style. It's one thing to be similar since it's the same studio, but the fact that it's EXACTLY THE SAME is such a turn off.
Also, I really hated Hiyori, all those dreams(?) where she was dying were so cathartic to me. What a bitch.
I don' think I can stand watching this show week by week. I'm putting it on hold and waiting for it to end then I'll watch it.

- Glad I didn't give into the inkling to watch this before mekakucity actors, otherwise I'd be burned out of anime for the day. In other words, this show is as good as always, but I'm about to say something that I know some of you hate. This felt really condensed as opposed to the manga version. It's not done terribly, though I was waiting for certain stuff to be said or what not, but it's noticeable.

Finished some new manga chapters. I don't know if I've mentioned these, but they're both recommendations to you guys.
For Squirrel: I highly, highly recommend you check out Love so Life. It feels a lot like Fruits Basket. The main girl, Shiharu, is very similar in, in character and circumstance, to Tohru from Fruits Basket. Not to mention, they're both love stories and cute. I think you love this series.
Loomy: Have you heard of 1/2 Prince? It's another one of those based on people playing a game. Though the people here aren't stuck in the game, but it's a really awesome series that I highly recommend. This one is a manhua(Taiwanese comic) so it's read left to right. I think you'll really like it.
I'm not sure if I've recommended these before, but this time it comes with linkys to the respective mal pages.

I have to say that I really liked this episode

- This episode was very strange. The first half was extremely boring and I just hated that Hiyori girl. The second was more interesting with the time paradox, but I still had no idea what the hell was going on.
I also feel like this anime seems to be more style over substance and it just isn't peeking my interest. I thought last week's episode was great, but this week it just went back down the same track as the first two episodes.
I'll keep watching for sure, but I'm finding it too strange and too boring at times.

I have to say that I really liked this episode

- I liked how the focus was on Teppei and Akira. It was cool that Teppei got to meet his dad and that his dad actually really cared about him, that definitely caught Teppei off surprise.
Also I'm glad that Akira and Teppei are looking like they're going to have a thing and not some stupid love triangle between Akira, Hana, and Daichi. It's nice change of pace for once, I like it when animes have multiple relationships going on.

- I have to say that I really like the president and I believe that she actually cares about all the students and wants to stop the discrimination, but my question is: How?
I was getting the impression from Tatsuya, the president, and the other student council members know there's discrimination but they don't really feel like taking any course of action against it. Tatsuya pretty much doesn't even give a fuck, but that's just his personality so I don't mind.
But in a way I'm kind of rooting for the Blance/Egalite members. Taking action is pretty much the only way that they'll be heard and maybe people will think twice about the system because it is very corrupt.
And I still enjoy Miyuki's jealously, she seemed pretty shut down when she heard that Tatsuya swiped numbers with the kendo chick lol.

- Man Tsumugu has some serious issues, talk about bad luck seeing his mom while on a shopping trip:( Oh no the hibernation has begun sooner then Hikari wanted. Gottta love the love triangle(if you can call it that)/drama, lol. Why does Manaka always run away? At least this time she ended up in Tsumugu's net and not in the woods. That was very brave of Manaka to sacrifice herself to the sea god to save Akari. Oh no what's going to happen to Kaname?
Now I need to watch more! man this is getting good.

Well, like I said, Mekakucity is on hold for now. And I don't know if the art and style of the show will annoy you when you watch Bakemonogatari, but it is me. I get that it's the same studio, but this is ridiculous.

- yeah those parts are very condensed. Also, how Tatsuya announces he's going to the practice facility all of a sudden, they don't even mention that that's the place that was under attack, so how did he figure that out(fyi, in the manga and I suppose novel, they get a radio message from some of the other members saying that the practice facility was under attack). So yeah, that annoyed me a bit. Again, it wasn't anywhere near making it bad, just so noticeable to me.
Also, I have to say that so far a lot of the whole thing of the series portraying people who want equality, and the manga goes more into depth and ridicules them for wanting so. In the end, I understood what the author was trying to say, but he explained it pretty badly. Came off sounding as "people who want equality are just lazy." It's hard to describe, but it'll become more noticeable when the arc ends. That's one thing that's been bothering me this whole time. Tatsuya does mention that he's an exception because of his own talent, but that if he lacked it he'd be giving in to the "delusion" of equal treatment. Ultimately I understood what was being said, but for a while I was a bit confused. Especially if one looks at it as an allegory for racial discrimination and whatnot.
Anyhow, blance/egalite just kept coming off to me as sleezy. I wasn't sure how to see them, but I liked how the arc ends it. I'd say more, but it'd be spoilerish.
