Cyborg Pirate all the way. When I think of a robot ant I think of this guy:
The first boss from Earthbound!

It's Games for Windows Live's fault.

Re: General Chat XXXIX: Reading Rainbow Returns Edition.
Games for Windows Live is the reason why Dark Souls won't play on Steam.
I'll have to edit the files with stuff to make it function without GFWL making the game crash.
Currently have it running, but there's no option to save the game.

Well I can't do anything because all this stuff confuses me.
I'd be even more mad than I am right now if the game wasn't just $5.00....

And this is why I prefer playing on consoles. I have learned from experience that PC's (Mine in particular) will give you the middle finger at the first opportunity.

My PC isn't the issue in this situation, though...Koenig wrote:And this is why I prefer playing on consoles. I have learned from experience that PC's (Mine in particular) will give you the middle finger at the first opportunity.
It's more like, "hey guys, Games For Windows is fucked up, so no game time because."
You'd get this situation for Consoles as well, but you wouldn't be able to walk around it.
This problem, what I'm looking into right now, is tied tor either the DSfix, or GFWL.
I can already confirm GFWL has a huge part in this, since I removed a file that boots GFWL before the game's start up. Now I can't save the game unless I work around it.
I'm currently putting DSfix to see what will be changed.

The root of the problem is Games For Windows Live.
there is nothing I can do about this until Microsoft gets on the ball, or I keep searching online for a solution.

Re: General Chat XXXIX: Reading Rainbow Returns Edition.
From what I understand they still have to have a jury trial in order to win against Nintendo, likewise the courts decision may be overturned if Nintendo's appeal is accepted. Either way I doubt Philips will win, and if they do they will become the subject of some massive scorn.
I still don't understand how the court ruled in favor of Philips to begin with. All I have heard so far is that patent laws are broken (Which I agree with) however I would still like to here an adequate description.

Re: General Chat XXXIX: Reading Rainbow Returns Edition.
that's right, Microsoft finally pulled the plug on GFWL a few weeks back or something. Some games still need to be converted over to steamworks and such.xXJus10Xx wrote:For once, this isn't even my fault lolTensePsychopath wrote:Goddammit Justin.
