@loom and luna, I know we kinda gave up on this weeks ago but here's the final score for the fantasy anime league on mal

http://myanimelist.net/forum/?topicid=1219917

Alright sounds good. And have you been watching the sub or dub for Clannad and FMP?

Also damn, I forgot about that! I just lost all motivation after like week 3 or 4 lol. I just wasn't that into it haha.

Those guys in the top 50 must have really looked into each show to see how people were thinking about it before hand. It really just comes down to picking the shows with the most buzz. See, I picked my shows based off a poll of Japanese fans most anticipated shows and I didn't really do research on how much attention a show was getting here in the MAL forums or CR forums.

I think I made the mistake of choosing shows that I thought sounded interesting. I should look over my choices just to see if they even panned out with me....

Alright I just watched this show called Monthly Girls' Nozaki-kun on CR and it was pretty damn funny!

The main character is cute and I like her a lot, the beginning is priceless! I think you would like this one Luna.

Anyways I'm going to go give Barakamon a try now.

I already watched that one and I'd actually read the manga too....I just didn't realize it. I seem to not have continued the manga, didn't even add it on mal, though. I'm not big on manga/anime about mangaka. Which is one reason Hayate no Gotoku had gotten so boring for me like the last year, damn doujin competition arc...

Anyhow, I do agree it's funny, I'm not sure if I'll continue it. I forgot what chapter I left off in the manga before I stopped reading.

I haven't watched many shows where the main characters are making manga so I'll probably so this on through the end.

Barakamon on the other hand was fucking great. I think it has the best OP and ED of any show this season and I already love the plot. The island kind of reminds me of Catalina Island off the coast of California. An island that's close to the main land, but doesn't have many residents and is still beautiful. Though the island seems much bigger than Catalina and probably has a bit more residents.

I have yet to visit Catalina....I wonder if I can convince my brother to go there for our birthdays.

Anyhow, yes it's really interesting. The kids were so cute too. This might be my sneaky fave of the season, If I judge solely based on first eps.

Just finished the first ep of Ao Haru Ride and I enjoyed it. The art style is lovely, water colors and music nice and relaxing setting up a good mood for the show. Despite the plot not really being anything new when it comes to this type of show, I like it enough, especially since the characters are interesting.

clannad subbed, fmp dubbed, I'm really liking the sub of clannad.

I kinda like the contests better on CR and the forums there are a lot nicer then MAL, I mostly just go to MAL to talk to some friends and manage my lists lol.

hey loom was there a new aot on toonami this week or was it just space dandy?

I'm a little hooked on Attack on Titan.
Why didn't this show catch my attention before?

I dunno

Anyhow, started reading and have caught up on Rain in the last few days. It's really good, especially if you like strong MCs and fantasy/medieval settings.

I just never had any real interest in the show before. Just a Slight bit of interest. I ignored the crap out of it... It only took airing on Adult Swim for me to watch it forcefully(because I watch late night shows and Attack on Titan just happens to be on lol)

Thanks, Adult Swim. XD

Good, I guess. Your recommendations don't spark an interest to me much, anyways.

Too much relationship animu.

Alright cool. The Clannad sub is fantastic.

And ya, the contests on CR are much better and more fun.

And AoT did air last week.

I'm glad you like it! Are just waiting for the dub version on AS or are you tempted to go on Netflix and watch the sub version?

I've watched the dubbing on another website I was so hooked.
The dub went up to episode 13, and there's no other dub yet...
I'm just gonna have to wait for the rest of the dub. Sub is the next best thing, but... I like dubs...

I will be including animation in this thread instead of making a new one.

Just saw Ernest and Celestine; a French animated movie about a sweetheart mouse and a grumpy bear.

Nothing new with the storyline but it was just a very sweet film. I love Celestine's attitude Very Happy
