Really? I would hold Blue Spring Ride and Barakamon in the highest regard, but nowhere near the top of last fall. Anyhow, from that list of upcoming Fall shows, I think the only one I'm really interested in, before hand, is Log Horizon 2. Hmm...I should look and see what else is coming up.

o.o

Adaptations of Madan no Ou to Vanadis and Nanatsu no Taizai. Hmm...that's strange, I thought fall was when Yamada-kun and the seven witches was getting it's adaptation aired. Oh well, I don't see much I recognize, so hopefully I get some surprises.

Ooooh ya. Without a doubt.

I love Nagi, Golden, Magi, and Kill la Kill, those three shows are amazing. Though, I like the titles this season even more. Akame ga Kill definitely amps my appreciation of this season, if not for AgK, Fall would probably still be my favorite.

At this rate: AgK, SAO II, Terror, and Aldnoah will probably all get 10's from me if they continue the way they're going. Those shows in particular interest me more than the Fall shows that I gave 10's to.

Like I said, Summer 2014 beats Fall 2013 by inches for me, but that's mainly because of AgK.

Lol, the last ep for SAO finally got me excited. Aldnoah is a huge disappointment. It's so boring and uninteresting.

Aldnoah boring and unexciting? Definitely disagree on that one. I think it's one of the better to mecha animes to come out in recent memory.

Great cast of characters, they use tactics to take down the mechs (like Code Geass), interesting setting, fantastic OST, great art, and the action is fucking awesome. How is it boring in any way!?

The fact that it's uninteresting makes it boring. I'm not invested in the characters and don't care what they're doing. And the story feels all too familiar, which isn't bad, just that it adds to my lack of interest. Honestly, from the people I'm talking to, you're the only one who has such high regard for it. There are a couple who like it, but for the most part it's getting dismissed easily. I honestly don't see what's great about it.

The MC, while he seems really smart, just doesn't have much of a character. He pales in comparison to Lelouch. Nobody else is standing out either.

I've ran into plenty that think the same as me. Inaho does has character, I would love to spell it out for if you wish. I'm actually starting to like Inaho more than Lelouche because he isn't cocky, melodramatic, and gets things done.

I think he's awesome.

Also Slaine and the Asslyum are great as well. THere's plenty of interesting characters.

Also now that I've thought about it more, I think Fall will probably stay on the top for me. but we'll see on this season ends up.

This is from a discussion I was having with someone on CR yesterday, but it's still pretty relevant and you probably feel the same way as the guy that I was arguing with. So here you go:

INAHO HAS A PERSONALITY/CHARACTER

He appears pretty nonchalant about certain things and is monotone, but he genuinely cares about his friends and his team. I like his monotone type of personality, he isn't whiny or annoying. He just doesn't feel the need to be overly emotional, but does that mean he has no personality? Definitely not. You can see how he acts around his sister and his friends, he's carefree but he does care about about everything that's going on around him. Just like when he took out the first Aldnoah, he wanted to kill that guy because he killed his friend! HE CARES! HE WANTED REVENGE!

You're trying to make him sound like a robot, but thing is that isn't true! Just because he's lax and doesn't get too emotional, doesn't mean he has no character.
--------
That's where you're wrong, I do feel the same way about Inaho as I do Slaine. I want Inaho is achieve his goal (which may be just to survive and keep his squad safe). I feel as attached to him as I do Slaine.

Inaho has shown emotion and what he said to his sister just goes to show that he means serious business when he's on the battlefield. He won't let emotions get in the way of his fighting because he has a mind of a solider! He isn't going to fuck around and cry, he's going to make the tough decisions and accomplish his goals.

Like I said before just because he's monotone doesn't mean he doesn't have a personality or lack of character. If anything, I think Inaho has just as much of a personality as Slaine. They're just different.
--------
I've already given you examples as to why he has emotions! You bring examples from shows like Fate/Zero, SNAFU, JoJo's Bizzare Adventure, irregular at Magical Highschool, Attack on Titan (I've watched all of them except for Jojo), but Inaho is in a different position than most of those characters. Inaho would probably be closest to Kirisugu from Fate/Zero, but even then that's a stretch. Inaho is fighting to keep his friends and crew safe. He just doesn't let emotions take the best of him. We haven't really dived too much into his mind/past, but I bet we will eventually.

Another scene where Inaho shows a fair amount of emotion is when he's talking to his friend-that-is-a-girl in episode 4 (I think it was episode 4... I kind of forget). It shows that he does care about his friends and is human, I don't know what else you want from him.

Anyways, I feel like we're going in circles here. If my previous examples weren't enough to convince you, than this argument really won't go anywhere.

The full convo is right here if you want to see what the other guy was saying:

That doesn't do much to change my opinion, I'd have to give it time, like with Tatsuya. Especially since I actually think the comparison with Tatsuya is pretty apt. I was gonna make the amend that at least he's not a whiny bitch. I just want to see more motivation.

Well I bet we'll get a flashback to explain the way he is, like Slaine, so all we can do is stay tuned. But I've said my piece.

The latest episode of Fairy Tail was pretty much a fanservice episode, albeit one in the middle of a massive battle. Sometimes I just don't know what to think of this show.
