If Microsoft buys Mojang and owns Minecraft afterwards, what will be of the ports to Playstation?

It'll stop being sold, is my guess. But those who own it will be able to keep it. Though I suspect that support for those versions would cease, as an incentive to buy it on other platforms. But is the Minecraft IP part of the proposed deal?

No, I doubt that. They're just being dumb about it. After all, the PS3/PS4 versions were announced after the WIIU was already out. I mean, it's be weird for them to think "well, we're going to be acquired by MS soon, so let's not bother on a WIIU version, but let's totally do one for the Sony systems, even though those are the primary competition for the xbone."

Come on. The reason why the Wii U doesn't have Minecraft is because it(Wii U) isn't hip.

But for how much longer? If Microsoft is gonna buy Mojang, do you think they will let the Sony sell Minecraft?

Like I said, if that happens, the game will be removed from psn, but those who already own it will most likely be able to keep it, just that it'll probably not get anymore support or that if you delete it from your system, you'll not be able to redownload it.

wait what if someone had a physical copy of minecraft? would it probably be the same?

That would obviously be different, since you have the physical disk. But like I said, I would expect it to not receive updates anymore.

Mojong probably considered a WiiU version of Mincraft at one point, but probably got offers from Microsoft shortly after their Sony announcement.
