Anime Chat VIII

Hmm...after watching this, now I feel like watching FLCL again.

The current arc in the Fairy Tail anime is boring me to tears.  It feels worse than generic.

Arc? Didn't the filler arc about the spirits just end. The last three eps have been one offs.

I am still watching the filler arc about the spirits.  It is utter rubbish.

Lol, I didn't bother watching it. I'm waiting for it to go back to manga material before I watch it again. Though the last three eps have been based on extra chapters.

The one-offs are normally quite good.  It is these filler arcs that are a complete waste of time.

Indeed. One off eps are usually fun everyday life type of story. Filler arcs just tend to be really boring.

In all honesty I prefer the one offs of the show compared to most of the arcs in general.  I don't think they should be the only thing, but the series would be far better off if they traded the filler arcs in favor of creative one-off episodes.

I agree. I enjoy the slice of life eps a lot. Seeing these characters live their lives, when they're otherwise not fighting for said lives (even though nobody ever dies in this series), is fun.

Just watched through the last few episodes.  Fairy tail needs more episodes like this, even during the non-filler arcs.  I have to admit I cracked up few times at the Super-hero parodies.

Yeah, insert some fun instead of that contrived filler drama.

I really need to get to fairy tail it's been on my plan to watch list for awhile now

looks like cartoon network went back to having part of toonami on earlier then the rest of the block, dragon ball z kia and one piece are on at7 central then there's a block of king of the hill, American dad, ect. then the rest of toonami, why did they go back to this now? I remember when they did this with naruto a few years back
