Yeah. No. It's not the consumer's fault. It's the companies. I would like to point out that Nintendo jumped to their new system and dropped the Wii almost instantly. Not only that, they embraced the new gen nearly flawlessly - 1080p games, 60 fps huge levels, amazing visuals, free online, affordable virtual games...they are kicking so much ass whereas the "powerhouses" still struggle.

And those few "Next-gen" only games have been struggling. From lawsuits from games not being presented as they way they were advertised, broken games (That PS4 driving game)...I mean come on. consumers aren't demanded PS3 games all the time anymore. Hell, even I'm not (though I wand D4 on at the least PC) but the blame lies - as per usual - on the developers.
its both community and developers. Last gen needs to be completely abandoned, end of story, I'm glad Nintendo had the common sense to move on when the wii u came out, I just wish others would do the same already.

Drive Club I can't really speak for, weather not being in, the game ran perfect when I played it o_O but most everything else (Ubisoft excluded) has been doing just fine, as fine as the transition from last gen architecture to new gen architecture can be this early anyway.

The broken games and lies will still be present in 2015. Most games that come out, will require a day 1 patch, or be broken as fuck and will not care to release a patch right away. It's a greed aspect that 3rd parties want. They want your fucking money and morons out there give it to them. It's disgusting and people question what the problem is. Well that's your answer. Nintendo may not getting 3rd parties and at this point, I'm glad there not. Don't need quantity to be ruined by greatness. Something PS4 still needs to have.

That's basically it though, outside of Ubisoft, and Sleeping Dogs DE apparently, all the games have been fine, more or less, from what I have heard. I don't actively go out of my way to find every piece of bad news I can like some people on GT or Neogaf. Though I guess there's also the Halo collection issues though my cousin doesn't give two shits cause he wanted it strictly for the single player, though he's likely a minority in that.

Regardless, the "Money over quality" stance that companies like Ubisoft adopted needs to be fucking dropped.

edit: If you want specific examples, inFAMOUS Second Son, inFAMOUS First Light, Call of Duty AW, Transistor, TLOUR, Murdered: Soul Suspect is about as good as it can be considering Ign forced the dev out of business so patches are not happening, ever I guess. Even LBP3 is just fine, well, fine now anyway now that it's gotten its patch.

I won't deny Infamous looking absolutely beautiful and is a great example of true "next gen" in terms of visuals. To me, it's the only one listed that really does "next gen".

would not put Transistor up there as "next gen" as it is nothing ground breaking nor does it push hardware. It's an indie game released on "Next Gen" consoles. Not a "next gen" game (in terms of power/awesomeness. It is a kick ass game though)

The Last of Us remastered is NOT a next Gen title, Legend and you know that.

Call of Duty AW may be better than most call of duties as of late but again, it doesn't push anything and it's just another yearly release.

Murdered is also not a huge breakthrough though I give it huge props for being original. But it was also released on last gen systems so it doesn't add up to the list.

By the way; not saying any of these games aren't great. I'm just saying that the so-called next gen is nothing special. Even those few exclusive titles are nothing riviting (hence pushing my blame on Devs still more than consumers when it comes to the arguement of next-dev being dragged due to the older systems)

Also, Advanced Warfare is actually pretty impressive visually, especially running at 60fps. It's honestly one of the prettier games of the gen so far which is kinda crazy considering its CoD.
