If you buy a lot of games (especially nintendo ones or limited editions) and you haven't looked into gamers club unlocked via best buy you should. for $30 you get 20% off any new game (including preorders) for two years, as well as figures like amiibo, and 10% off used games. Thus a $60 new release becomes $48 so it can pay for itself pretty quickly.

yup, I have that version somewhere, but animated avys are not allowed on neogaf, and that is where I pulled my avatar from...

they also seem to have killed the moving avatars on GT thus I can't pull it from there either, nor my twitter. *shrugs* I have gotten used to it not moving anyways.

Removing the forums favorite feature won't cause people to leave, it will cause them to go mingle with other people again.

also we are going to launch the new forums so they are broken horribly for like a month forcing everyone to go find some place else to talk about video games.

really they would be better off just shutting down the GT forums at this point. There is not that much going on in general over there.

Plus they haven't updated popfiction in a long time so boo on them (though I did find some other great series since then)

as for neogaf, well I like chatting with people over there, and like the buy sell trade thread over there as it's a great way to safely unload video game good such as extra digital codes I have. I am always amused at how many people actually know me from around places though as I get people from time to time that were on GT that joined neogaf that message me, or people from CAG that do it. I'm typically just like... oh hi... nice to talk to you again. While thinking to myself, I am really not worth remembering, I don't really do anything but type up stupid long responses that most people never respond to, though apparently some people actually read lol.

Though I should note I asked Legend for this site because I missed talking with Mazer, not that I didn't miss other people but I really haven't a clue who all is on here aside from Mazer lol.

Plus I kind of wanted to find a new group of people to talk about video games and anime with for a bit. That and I actually started using an add on a few months back that makes it much easier to keep track of multiple forums, so there is that too.

Well we are happy to have you, Zulu. Seriously. We may be a small group but we've really worked on being active as best as possible.

Smirky did an amazing Hunger Games thing twice now and it's been stupidly funny and entertaining. Had some splatoon days (gotta do another one guys!), Legend streams, and we overall try to have fun.

We also have Sheria as a member and Squirrel but both are rare these days ^_^

And what hurt the most about GT was it fell right after I finished my GT game which means a huge % o fthose who helped never got to play it.


Also, Zulu - remember our old WSS Armageddon? I turned it into a complete screenplay

Ah, I don't own Splatoon, I may some day but the lack of real local co op play was a big downer for me. (I do have an inkling pack that I am not sure if I want to sell or not though lol)

Yeah it's a shame the people who helped didn't get to play it. Ideally they at least had fun helping though.

Turned out really well. I need to do some editing and cleaning up but I found the screenplay to be quite fun. Lot's of blood.

Know what I hate? When I say I want something (in this case a laser cutter) and someone else goes "Well, they aren't that expensive..."

I'm always like "Bitch, then buy one for me if you don't consider 3k expensive"

Zulu hooked me up with the Gamestop one...it disgusts me to buy something from them but...meh. I want my ZSS. I am so fed up with the customer service at the actual stores tho. Well, outside of one near me where the guy there is pretty cool.


Also: Konami announced that they are shutting down the Console division of their gaming company. They are focusing strictly on either hand-held or casino games.

I hope that in Konami's greed and stupidity they sell of the rights to their games in some form or fashion to another company.
