Yeah, the whole sprite sizing post was interesting. Can you mimic a sprite-pixel form like that? If not, hand-drawn animation is fine.

But it also feels like a game that shows you the entirety of what it has to offer in the first 5 minutes.

I don't play animal crossing so I'm not sure. Far as I can tell, it just focuses entirely on one aspect of the regular games and runs with it.

Far as home designer goes, it's kinda odd designing peoples homes without bathrooms or any basic essentials cause they're so tiny and they love it anyway lol

Animal Crossing is a game that, while gratifying to do menial things, steals my soul while playing. I had to get rid of my copy so I could actually be product irl.

I am not a fan of that series

So I had a dream where I was Twilight Sparkle and when I went to my treehouse, I discovered that there was a massive corruption slowly taking over the world. I had the evil King Sombra trying to figure out what was going on but this magic was too ancient so I went to the only creature that was as old as time: Discord.

We discovered that I needed to put on this crown that will split me into a force of evil and force of good and then the good me had to convince the evil me to join forces to destroy the corruption and find the spirit of Control (discord is chaos).

But I was actually the corrupted version of myself and I refused to help the good side. When she got angry, I just said screw it and made out with my good self. Many sexes happened and when she was asleep, I bit her ear then whispered how she was a huge sucker for falling for it and I left the house to continue to corrupt the world...

It's monotonous, the reward for what you do in town is minimal, there is almost no AI to speak of...I'd rather play The Sims tbh

I think to enjoy Animal Crossing you have to be really into purely aesthetic rewards.
