yeah. Assuming things have stayed mostly the same, it should perform just as well as the i7 unless you plan to do video editing or photoshop work, in which case, the i7 is recommended because it has/can do hyper threading while the i5 doesn't. iirc, even then, I think it's only if you're doing real heavy duty editing or photoshop work.

That aside, some games do make use of hyper threading, don't know which ones off the top of my head though >.> I don't think it's that many though.

I'm thinking I may have to go with the i5. I just got this phone app that'll let me edit videos, and even though my lappy is crappy (rhyme intended) it still handles photoshop pretty well.

Thanks. What size SD card will I need? Or is the SD card solely for modding the system and not data storage?

I think the SD card has to be 2GB?

I would use a 16 gigger myself. Mostly because that same card is what I put all my emulators, games, etc onto.

the Nvidia GTX 1070 came out today (founders rip offs only) for $495ish after tax (excluding shipping) and I had several opportunities to get one but didn't cause I only have a bit over $500.

I want a new gpu so bad right now but everyone is saying "WAIT!!!" and it's driving me crazy.
