So I'm giving Dark Souls another shot and I'm enjoying it. It also helps that I found Undead Burg this time >.>

beat the first two bosses but I still have my starting gear, where can I buy some new armor?

You missed Undead Burg when you first played it?

By first two bosses do you mean Taurus demon and Bell Gargoyles? Also I'm afraid you won't find an armor vendor for a while. The first one you can find is right before you enter Blighttown, but armor sets are also scattered in places around the world.

You missed Undead Burg when you first played it?

Oh, I mean the Asylum demon and Taurus demon. I've found a decent shield but I could use some better armor, getting hit really hard by some enemies.

And yeah, I missed Undead Burg the first couple tries way back. I don't actually remember where I went but today I just kinda stumbled into Undead Burg lol. I beat the Taurus demon and went to cross a bridge that is now being guarded by a dragon. Opened up a shortcut to an earlier bonfire though which is good.

Honestly, armor isn't really what matters in Dark Souls. What matters is not getting hit. Also what class you choose and your stats matter a lot in what armor you can wear and move effectively in.

I haven't played through DS1 in a long time so the area progression is a little hazy in my mind... but I think one of the earliest times you can get a good armor set (one that you could use for the rest of the game pretty much if you keep upgrading it) is in Darkroot garden. But you'll have to get through the rest of the Undead Burg, the Bell Gargoyles, a hyrda and a fair amount of Darkroot Basin before you can get to it.

Go to Darkroot Garden next. New Londo is late game and that route into Blighttown isnt the proper entrance.
