Omg you are amazing...

What's Wakfu? I think you mentioned it before.

A french animated series (Is has a dub). It is a bit childish, but it has one of the most unique art styles and some the best villains I have ever seen in a "Cartoon". Just take a look at this battle scene from season 1.-Mazer wrote:smirkytrick wrote:Speaking of uplifting stuff, I went to the game store to sell that game that was in "mint" condition. Battles like that are not too common, but they drastically juxtapose the rest of the show and are key events in the narrative.
PS: How is work? I suspect busy considering the season.

Work work work...Saturday is my only day off now...Sundays the woman tries to reel me in since we never see each other and I work sunday nights for 2 more weeks.....
I usually have like 1 hour of free time in the early afternoons but that is only if mom does not need me to come over or if I don't have cleaning to do...
Re: Gen Chat XV: A Whole New Chat
Do want to play games at some point during Saturday?

So I take you would want to play either in the morning or evening, but not the afternoon?

Re: Gen Chat XV: A Whole New Chat
Holy shit...
I'm basically done with this semester and it feels... bitter sweet o_o
I actually legit liked everything about this semester, the people, the classes, the teachers, just everything. I'm actually kinda sad that it's mostly over (it'll be done tomorrow night). Man, school feels so different when you go to study things you actually care about.
On the negative side though, I started strong in my English 102 class but finished incredibly weak. I really hope that my grade's at the very least a C >.>

Re: Gen Chat XV: A Whole New Chat
so.. super mario run was actually looking decent until today.
super mario run needs to be always online
and with that... fuck nintendo I will never buy that piece of shit game :/
i'm not paying $10 or was it $15 for a single player game (as I wasn't going to touch the online stuff) that I can't play on the go without using up my data plan.

Cracked phones wouldn't have a problem with that, would they?

We do not know how much data it actually uses. It could be literally kilobytes of data just to check if you are online and to save. nothing more. and it is 9.99
On a different note...I am starting to hear from several parties around work about how tired I look and sound...I wonder if it is the family issue, the peak season wearing me down, or both...44

I am a mix of irritated...exhausted...stressed...
I am up to 2 energy drinks a day now and they just don't work.....almost falling asleep at my desk or just not having energy to keep up...Usually peak does not get me this badly. I am a pro at Peak but this year is not my year

Re: Gen Chat XV: A Whole New Chat
any is to much. it shouldn't require to be always online to play a single player mode. none of my other premium aps do.-Mazer wrote:

beyond that, I don't have good signal at my work and thus my data even if I was to use it is super spotty.
in order to play the game I would need to go stand outside where on sunny days I can't see my screen very well, and in summer/winter and any bad weather days it wouldn't be enjoyable.
the icing on the cake is such a limitation won't hurt pirates at all. it might take a few days (not weeks or months but days) but the pirates will end up with a version that works fully offline. so it only screws over people who would legit buy it :/
I mean, I am not going to say you shouldn't buy it because of it, but I have been looking for something to play at work and the recent videos looked pretty good so I was seriously considering getting it especially since I have $15 in credit on my phone right now. but that is completely out now. I might get it when it is 90% off at 99 cents but I am not sure what the point would be. only places I have stable internet to play a game like this are at homes or a friends, and at that point if I want to play a mario game I would likely just play a real one instead of an autorun game.
I would imagine that it will be a game that detects if a phone is rooted and if it is it won't work (like how pokemon go was updated)xXJus10Xx wrote:Cracked phones wouldn't have a problem with that, would they?
you will likely need to either unroot your phone to play it, or pirate it on a version with that stuff removed that likely still plays online on their servers just fine.

Re: Gen Chat XV: A Whole New Chat
so gonintendo has you covered for mario run data usage.
sounds like it uses up to 75mb per hour if you are playing constantly (likely for toad rally mode other modes would likely use less)
RUMOR - SUPER MARIO RUN "WILL REQUIRE 75 MEGABYTES OF DATA PER HOUR" FOR "CONSTANT, INVOLVED" PLAY
I should note... that is more than pokemon go that actively needs to track your location which uses about 3mb of data per hour.
also seems it will launch with 24 levels.
