Gen Chat XVII: Tired of the old title

@Mazer, what are your thoughts on the RPG maker events? Any idea what the problem is?

Have not had a chance to look just yet. Got home supet late. Lemme try to play w it before work. If not then i will have all sat to poke it w a stick

Aside from the animations, I could see that working pretty well. Ace Attorney is a very story and script focused game, which is right up an RPG's ally.

I honestly wish capcom would just make DS/GBA style ace attorney games; that is to say focusing mainly on the story and limiting the graphics to Sprite/2D drawing instead of 3D, with light puzzle elements thrown in. It would be fair less resource intensive and would let the studio's make the games much faster. I would happily buy a yearly ace attorney installment if each story was still interesting.

I kinda grew out of AA because the court cases were getting too predictable. Every time you make headway it's suddenly OBJECTION or "HOLD IT" and suddenly the story changes and you got to do everyone alllll over again. That was fine for a little bit but when court cases dragged on and on and on because the predictable "last minute" surprises, I got more irritated than having fun.

I loved Miles' standalone game. That was fun

A shame we never got the sequel =(

we totally got the sequel through the efforts of many dedicated fans though

I really liked Wonder Woman.

I have heard Wonder Woman is quite good, or at the very least head and shoulders above the last few DC movies.

Correct. We eventually figured that out the other day; I am still getting the hang of how the system uses the sprite sheets to animate.

A hold has been placed on my CSUN registration cause I didn't do this title9 thing called "Not Anymore." The link they gave me that's supposed to take me to the training page just tells me "It appears you are not required at this time to complete the Title 9 Training." So which is it?

I really wish HamHam heart break was on the E-shop, that is a game that I feel would be a good example to work off of. Oh well, Ill keep tinkering with events and flavor text in the mean time. I made a make shift village so far and started making some basic quests (none of them are complete yet though)

looks like I lied

the other thing that I would need to take to the post office isn't happening so I will likely delay sending mazer's package until then.... which mean's I haven't gotten the last things from storage yet >.<
