Well they're similar in the way that they're both facilitators. As for personality...hmm.

Just finished Aiko Desho and it was really good. It had some really cute moments and the end was so bittersweet. Gah, I feel like crying a bit. D':

their stories are kinda similar too they both care for someone who is very sick, except in Otashi's case it's his sister and not some one he is dating

That doesn't really make them similar though. In fact, they both reacted very differently to the situations. Otanashi had a better/stronger reaction to his. He's a really admirable character; so cool. o.o

Best episode yet.
The ships are sailing everywhere.
Even though the characters are kind of shallow in this show, I like the idea of, "an outsider coming into a friend group and breaking the group apart." This happens a lot in friend groups and it's a painful, but very real occurrence.
Things are definitely getting tense and in a way I'm rooting for Kakeru since he's the dark knight of this whole situation. I think all this crap that's happening has been building for a while and Kakeru was just the spark. Without Kakeru, none of their feelings would have been exposed and it all would have just stayed in a state of limbo. I think it's good that Kakeru came along because this will prove if they can get over their differences and ideals and accept each other. If it wasn't meant to be then it wasn't meant to be. I believe a lot of this stuff was all bond to happen eventually, so better late than never.
Anyways, Hiro and Sacchi ordeal really was something else. I was glad to here that they were "official" and then Sacchi tried to pull that passive aggressive bullshit. Hiro handled that situation perfectly and I'm glad that made Sacchi feel shitty because that was a shitty thing to do. Though, I don't think that will ruin their relationship. If anything, I think it will only strengthen it since Sacchi will just want Hiro even more.
Also, what is up with Kakeru's clones? I think he might have schizophrenia. And the ending with Touka was kind of dramatic. I think Touka envisioned that would be the end of her and Yana's relationship and she freaked out because it was just too much for her too handle/accept.
Also lol at Yuki being the stud! Hopefully Hina's motivation helped him, I mean, that would certainly motivate me!Anyhow, yeah, it's finally getting really interesting.
- Spoiler:
Also, yeah Sacchi totally deserves the hate she's getting. What she did was really bad, I felt terribly for Hiro, being used like that. It's like she called him her boyfriend just so that she could more easily manipulate him. What will happen when Touko find out? Can't wait to see that.
As for Yana, I got annoyed that she's laying the blame over Yuki's current situation on Kakeru. It's not his fault things turned out that way. It's not like he went and seduced Touko just to ruin everyone's friendships. And even then, Yuki's attitude more than anything is based on Touko not returning his feelings. That last comment of her's was of petulant immaturity. Oh, not to mention that there was her awesome confession. Did she think that had absolutely no effect on him?
Meanwhile, Yuki has passively started a middle school girl harem. XD
On the subject of Touko's outburst at the end, I wonder what the crows signified? Like were they an omen of death or something?
As for the multiple Kakeru's, I was wondering if it was something akin to multiple personalities but I don't think this show will tackle that. Maybe it'll have to do with his powers.
I'm also interested to see what the deal was with Hiro's sister.
Oh, also, what'd you think about Touko's little sister's attitude when talking with Yana and the way she was when Touko went down to leave with Yana. At first I thought she was looking up to Yana, but then she's chasing down Yuki to tell him to continue being cool. Actually, the fact that both her and Yana mentioned that made me wonder a bit.
I agree.
- Spoiler:
- I don't like how everyone is blaming Kakeru, when he's just pursing the girl he likes. Yana, Yuki, and Sacchi are acting immature.
And I think the crows just symbolize evil and hate (judging from how they're used in other forms of media), so the crows was just probably all that hate unleashing from Yana.
And Yuki being in the middle school harem is pretty funny, the dude is just oblivious haha! Every girl in this show I think has admitted that Yuki is hot lol. Imagine if he got with Touka's sister! XD Shit would hit the fan!!!! And to answer your question, I think Touka's was just concerned for all their friendships so she was trying to help out Touka/everyone.

Otonashi has got to be one of the most respectable and awesome leads in a romance show ever. The guy has a heart of gold and I wouldn't say that he's that similar to Tomoya.

I like Tomoya, but he's not as awesome as Otanashi. Though he is a fun character in how he messes with others.

RWBY is getting released in Japan is getting its own japanese dub. The tables are turning folks!
Good for Rooster Teeth! RWBY is sweet and is proof that Americans can make Anime/Japanese-style animation and storytelling.
Also HxH is ending at episode 148
This is actually good because they won't go into endless filler and crap, like other long running shounens *glares at Naruto*. It probably won't be continued until like a 2 years at the very least since they've almost caught up with the manga, but Madhouse did a fantastic job with this show and did it some serious justice.
I finished episode 116 in the anime last night and it was fucking epic. I've never see an episode quite like that before. Talk about near perfect character development and intensity. Seriously, Luna, CONTINUE IT! The Ant arc is fantastic! Dat face! DAT FACE!

Re: WSS Anime Thread Vol. II
I heard about that, really happy for Roosterteeth. It's weird that I listen to their podcasts, yet I haven't been watching any of their stuff. I'm like 3 seasons behind on RvB, still have yet to watch RWBY, and many of their other stuff I haven't kept up with. Love the RT shorts and Animated adventures the most.
As for going back to HxH, it left a bad enough taste in my mouth that I just don't want to watch it right now. I haven't dropped it, though.
Speaking of dropping, I dropped Seirei Tsukai no Bladedance. I'll stick with the manga, but I did not like the anime. I gave it a 5, but that's being generous.
Also, I finished Acchi Kocchi, was really cute. It was really similar to Lucky Star in both feel(tone/story telling) and art. Hmm...I should check, but I wouldn't be surprised if the same studio did both. Anyhow, Tsumiki was adorable. x3

Re: WSS Anime Thread Vol. II
So I've just finished episode 4 of Kokoro Connect and I think this might end up being one of my favorite romance shows ever. This everything I want from a romance show. It's so real and natural, I'm just dumbfounded on how masterful it is so far. I feel like I'm back in high school with my group of friends.
Also Taichi and Ibana are fucking awesome:

I've been putting that show off for a while, I should watch it soon. Especially since I've been reading a lot of romance manga lately.

Ya you should give it a try. It's such a fast watch. It would probably take you like 2 hours at the most to catch up to it.

I agree, I would love to play that! I'm going to buy whenever it comes out.

I heart just gave out during that scene as well. Probably one of the most heartfelt scenes in all of anime.

Haha yep,
- Spoiler:
- Annie is the titan! Once I saw the face, I knew it was her, but I was wondering how the hell that could have happened. I mean, she was the last person I would have guessed it was.
Just you wait till you find out who the Colossal Titan and Armored Titan is.
